chapter 5 - no more training

Every day it was harder and harder for Jessica to train. Aside from the fact she had to often stop to eat another nutrition bar, her weight was slowing her down. At first she was having trouble running very far on the treadmill. Soon though, it even impacted her riding, particularly anytime she simulated riding up hill on the trainer. After a few weeks of this, she had to stop all hard training, and would just walk on the treadmill.

She could not get into any of her clothes anymore. What made it worse though was when she shopped for new clothes she was usually having to get plus size. It seemed as soon as she would get her wardrobe replaced with bigger sizes, she would have to start shopping again as the new clothes would be getting tight on her.

She noticed she was starting to get some cellulite on the back of her thighs. Her ass seemed bigger by the day and she was going up a size in bras every 2 to 3 weeks. Her stomach pooch was becoming a belly, her abs long since buried under layers of fat.

She was worried sick about getting stretch marks, so she would spend every day soaking in hot bath with bath oil, and then spending a good 30 minutes liberally applying lotion all over her body. So far, it seemed to be working and at most she had a few very faint stretch marks at her hips that no one would notice unless you pointed them out.

She hated mirrors as every day it seemed she looked a little bigger. She even took down every mirror in her house save the bathroom one. Thus she was subjected to seeing herself naked every time she got out of the shower or bath.

She threw her scale out weeks ago so that she would never even be tempted to weigh herself. For a while she was weighing herself every morning, and every morning she was disappointed as she was always at least a little heavier than the previous day. It seemed as though her body took every ounce she ate and turned it into body fat. Like she was some machine whose soul purpose was building more fat.
