A Game of Keep Up

Chapter 1

Samantha watched as her husband Brady’s large pick-up truck jetted onto the newly paved driveway in the cardboard-box, cookie cutter style suburb. The stark contrast between the smooth black of the asphalt and the manicured patches of green was like something out of a nuclear family sitcom. Mindlessly twiddling her fingers around the realtor’s staging curtains, she watched as her man unloaded himself from the driver’s seat and onto the driveway.
With a sharp inhale, she watched his broad shoulders and stocky midsection shift under his t-shirt and reflective vest. The truck had dipped and tipped as the weight of her man exited it, and she couldn’t blame the vehicle. There was a lot of man to go around.
At nearly 6’4” and 330lbs, Brady Munroe was a beast. He was a high school and college football pillar, running a career for himself but with no desire to go pro. Samantha remembers when scouts were courting him, and she remembers the fancy dinners and free tickets and afternoons on yachts. A part of her wondered who she’d be if Brady had gone down that road.
But they had done well for themselves. Married two months ago, they purchased their first home, and were nestling slowly into their suburban life as husband and wife. Brady had started work at his brother’s construction company, and it brought him great joy. He got to use his hands, put in a hard day’s work, and come home to his beautiful wife and sit in front of the TV with a beer and a hand to hold.
Sam waved as his big bearded face lit up through the window. He had a buzz cut and the slightest of widow’s peaks. He was a true, old fashioned, blue collar man, and she loved the bones of him.
With a sigh, she slid her hands into her back pockets. Her 5’4” stature and bright blonde hair made her the perfect southern partner. A pair of light wash jeans and belt met a tight white tank top, her plump posterior packed into the stretched denim. She had round shoulders, small breasts, a tight waist and a thick whooty. She loved the near 12 inch difference between her and Brady, and how easily he could toss her around in the bedroom. His hands were like trash lids, and her ass was engulfed with each grip.
When he came through the front door, she hopped up, grabbed him and kissed him slowly. Being a mere 130lbs, he had nearly 200lbs on his petite wife. He laughed when she let him out of the lip lock, “Honey, I’m home.” He chuckled through a grin.
The house smelled amazing. Sam worked three days remotely, and two days in office as a bookkeeper for a beauty salon in town. She had never really cared what she did, always assuming she’d find a man who’d take care of her first and foremost. This meant on days like today, she could prep a beautiful meal in the morning, ready for her hubby bear upon his return home. She knew it was 2023, but a part of her liked playing home. It reminded her of being a young girl.
Brady carried her into the kitchen and dropped her plump tush on their floating island top. He reached into the fridge and cracked open a beer, which he nearly drank in a few gulps. She marvelled at the girth of his biceps, and the lines of his triceps, and the way his belly peeked out of the bottom of his shirt when he raised his arms.
“Good job today?” She cooed. He nodded as he swallowed, his eyes glazing over.
“Big job today. Back tomorrow. But that’s boring.” He flashed his wide, toothy grin. “What did you get up to? It smells amazing.”
“Beef short ribs tonight.”
His eyes popped open wide. “On a Thursday?”
“Figured I’d surprise you. Gotta find the small moments, right?”
He came over and kissed her, and she felt the grain of dirt and sand interlaced between the hairs of his forearms.
“You need a shower.” She said, tugging at his belt buckle. She could feel him pressing against his work pants. It was as powerful and wide as he was.
“I do. Come join me?”
With a coy pat on his pec, she dismissed him, playing hard to get. “I gotta take those out and get started on the sides. You’ll just have to wait.”
“But I’m hungry now…” he growled, sliding his hands onto her tush.
“Well, it’ll only improve over time.” She winked and walked over to the stove, making sure she flashed her hips with each step. Sam bent over and built herself the perfect heart shape silhouette for him to look at. “Better make it a cold shower, Brady-Bear.”
He smacked her ass and headed upstairs. Sam made note of the way the stairs thudded with each of his heavy steps.
With their fancy new stovetop, she started on the sides: mashed potatoes and veggies. She had also prepped brownie batter for dessert, his favourite. Sam was day dreaming, pressing down on the potatoes when suddenly she smelled body wash and heard the pattering of wet feet on tile.
Brady was back, a towel wrapped around his waist, exposing his fat and powerful torso. Layers of blubber coating rocks of muscle. He had an odd look on his face.
“Hey, don’t take this the wrong way.” He said in a higher voice than usual. “But how many ribs did you get?”
Sam blinked, dropping a knob of butter into the mix. “Four. Two each.”
With a sheepish scratch of his chest, he manages: “Do you think we could throw something else in the mix? I ate lunch really early and I’m just feeling…like…really hungry today.”
Brady was so cute when he was embarrassed. With a smile and a wink, Sam agreed and opened the fridge. “How about I whip up a few chicken parm cutlets to go with?”
He smiled and nodded, rubbing his hands together, and disappearing back upstairs.
He works hard, she thought. He deserves a big meal after a long day, she thought, as she set to pounding the breasts flat on the counter. He sang a country song upstairs while he got changed.
While Sam adapted the menu, Brady opened the pantry and picked at a bag of nacho chips and queso. She said nothing, knowing it wouldn’t spoil his big appetite. She even had a few herself when he stopped to get a beer. Brady produced a cold bottle of wine from the fridge and dutifully poured his wife a healthy portion.
“May I play a quick round while I wait?” He said, pressing his chin to her shoulder.
“You may.”
The oversized man child ran into the living room and fired up his gaming console. While it booted, he ran back in and grabbed the chips and queso.
They would be gone before she called him to the table.
