Violet

Chapter 2

I popped the gum into my mouth. I chewed quickly and excitedly.

"How is it, honey?" My mom asked.
"It's amazing! Tomato soup, I can feel it running down my throat!" I was in a wonderland of this great tasting gum.
"Yeah! Spit it out!" Why would I EVER spit out this amazing gum? He even said it was amazing and sensational!
After I heard some voices to prevent me to keep chewing, but I kept chewing anyways. Nobody can stop me!
"It's changing, roast beef, and baked potato! Crispy skin and butter!" This was the greatest gum ever! I might as well chew this for two months!
My mom began to blab about me and how I'm going to be the first person in the world to have a chewing gum meal. I didn't care much, I was loving the taste of this gum!
"Yeah! I'm just concerned about the-" Mr. Wonka said, and I decided to interrupt. What was there to be concerned about? This was amazing! Wait, I felt the flavors changing!
"BLUEBERRY PIE AND ICE CREAM!" I screamed. This gum was amazing, all of my favorite foods, just into a stick!
"That part", Mr. Wonka said.

Then, it began.

"Whats happening to her nose?" Veruca said. What was she talking about? My nose felt fine. I gave a glare to Veruca, I mean was she hallucinating? Was she trying to make me spit out this gum? She was definitely jealous. I kept chewing anyways.
"It's turning blue!" Veruca's dad said. Oh look, Veruca's dad was going crazy as well huh?
"Your whole nose has gone purple!" My mom remarked. Are you serious guys, I mean I would feel something if my nose turned purple. I rubbed my fingers against my nose just in case. I didn't feel anything! 'Wha- what do you mean?"
"Violet! You're turning Violet!" As soon as she said this, I turned to Wonka! It was all of his fault!
"What's happening?!" My mom asked desperately.
"Well, I told you I hadn't got it right, because it goes a little funny when it gets to the dessert. It's the Blueberry Pie that does it... I'm terribly sorry!" He then suddenly ducked under. I started looking at my fingers, as they were turning purple! How worse can it get than this? Then my clothes started turning purple!
