Chapter 1

1. The Message

It had been almost a year since Nina had last heard from Anna.

They used to be inseparable—early mornings at the gym, protein shakes on the go, Sunday meal preps, shared playlists and squat racks. Anna had been her best friend, her gym buddy, and her inspiration. They pushed each other harder, stronger, leaner. But then Anna had just… dropped off. Ghosted, really.

And now, out of nowhere, her phone buzzed.

Hey stranger. Wanna hit the gym tomorrow? Thought of you today.
– Anna

Nina blinked at the screen, mouth curling into a surprised smile. She was still in her tiny sports bra, glistening from her workout. The mirror in her bathroom reflected her taut abs, perky A-cups, and her perfectly round ass that she took pride in sculpting. But the message tugged at something deeper—a flicker of nostalgia, of warmth.

You’re on. 7am like the old days?

Anna replied instantly.

2. The Shock

Nina stood by the entrance of the gym, bouncing on the balls of her feet as she waited. She wore her tight pink leggings and black crop top, headphones around her neck. She scanned the crowd until a wide figure walked through the glass doors—slowly, softly.

It took her a second to recognize her.

Anna had changed.

Where there had once been toned arms and a slim waist, there were now thick, doughy limbs and a belly that pushed forward like a heavy, unapologetic pillow. Her face was rounder, cheeks flushed even before moving, and her oversized hoodie couldn’t hide the wobble in her thighs or the swell of her ass. She looked… soft. Hugely soft.

“Anna?” Nina gasped, blinking.

Anna grinned. “Hey, babe.”

They hugged—Nina’s firm body pressing into Anna’s plush one, the contrast shocking. Anna smelled like vanilla and buttered pastries. Her belly pressed into Nina’s abs, warm and yielding.

“You look… different,” Nina said carefully.

Anna smirked. “Life’s been indulgent. Come on, show me how bad I am now.” . . .
