Lucy Embraces Her Future

Chapter 1

Lucy had always drawn attention. With her brown hair, soft eyes, and a body that seemed built to tempt, she never had trouble finding company. In college, she earned the nickname “Communal Lucy” — not out of cruelty, but because everyone knew her reputation. Forty lovers in three years, countless parties, nights blurred by alcohol. Her grades slipped, her prospects crumbled, but Lucy didn’t care. She loved pleasure — food, drink, sex — and she chased it recklessly.

After graduation, reality hit. Her parents, both morbidly obese, pressured her to “sort herself out.” Her uncle offered her a safe, undemanding job at his small window installation firm. She drifted through her days, restless and unfulfilled.

Then she met Andy.

He was different from the men she’d known: focused, ambitious, with the kind of quiet drive Lucy lacked. Where she was chaos, he was structure. He saw her at a work party — laughing too loud, curves straining against a tight dress, cheeks flushed from wine — and he was transfixed. For Lucy, his calmness felt like an anchor after years of wild seas. They fell together quickly.

She moved into his apartment after just four months. At first, it felt like safety. For Andy, it felt like destiny. He loved everything about her: her mischievous grin, her restless energy, even her indulgent appetite. Secretly, he loved something else, too — the way her body had softened since they’d met.

Lucy had always been curvy, but years of takeout, alcohol, and skipped workouts were catching up to her. When Andy cooked, she ate. When she drank, she ordered more. Slowly, her frame filled out — breasts fuller, hips wider, a soft belly beginning to show. Andy never said it aloud, but each new pound made his heart race.

But Lucy’s restlessness hadn’t vanished. Andy worked long hours, chasing a degree that would secure their future. Lucy, bored and lonely, fell back into old habits.

The first time she cheated, it was with a colleague. At the office Christmas party, after too many cocktails, he told her what she always wanted to hear: “God, your ass looks incredible. Your tits are amazing.” Flattered, drunk, and craving attention, she let herself slip. One kiss turned into more, and by the end of the night, she was in his arms.

When Andy found out, he was shattered. But he forgave her. He told himself it was a mistake, fueled by alcohol. He buried the hurt and clung to the image of the woman he loved.

It wouldn’t be the last time.
