Sweet Obsession

Chapter 1

Lucy's Perspective -

I started my new job today at the small grocery store just down the road. I know at 21 I should be attending university, but with the awful relationship I just came out of, I felt it only proper that I take some time to re-evaluate my position in life.

It's been a challenge paying bills at my apartment since moving towns, but I'm managing okay. I've started baking cookies on the side as a way to bring in more income.

Last night, I could barely sleep with anxiety. It didn’t help that I was up so late baking. I had made a double batch, 24 cookies in total, of my infamous banana bread cookies, the ones I get the most orders for. I was incredibly pleased with how they came out and thought they'd be a useful tool in making a good first impression.

The morning was a chaotic rush. When the alarm went off on my phone, I snoozed it one too many times and ended up scrambling to get ready. No time for breakfast. I took the quickest shower of my life, hurriedly applied my makeup, and slipped into my uniform. The navy-blue t-shirt and black trousers were simple but cute. Though, I should have ordered a smaller size, the t-shirt hung loosely on my frame, making me feel swallowed in fabric. I took a quick glance at myself in the mirror before heading out. Since leaving my ex, I’d lost about 50 lbs, taking me from a chubby 170 lbs to a fit 120 lbs. I felt healthier, but my curves had mostly disappeared, except for my ass, which still held some shape. My honey-blonde hair had grown long, reaching my waist, though it was a little messy before I tied it back into a neat ponytail.

I left ten minutes before my shift started, the sun shining brightly with a gentle breeze cooling the air. I walked briskly, semi-jogged, really, the mile to work. By the time I arrived, I was slightly sweaty, but nothing a quick spritz of perfume couldn’t fix.

As I stepped into the store, the blast of cool air-conditioning was a relief. A short, skinny guy with glasses and a bright smile greeted me. He looked to be in his late 30s or early 40s. Gregory, the manager, took me to the back office to store my belongings. There, I placed my batch of cookies in the small kitchen with a note inviting my coworkers to help themselves. Gregory informed me he was gluten intolerant, so he couldn’t try them, but he appreciated the gesture. I promised to bake something different for him next time.

Gregory introduced me to the store’s layout, explaining that it was a small business with only two employees, my arrival made three. When I asked about getting a better-fitting uniform, he apologized, saying new uniforms could only be ordered every six months. Looks like I’d be swimming in this shirt for a while. He showed me the selection of goods we sold, frozen foods, fresh vegetables, and a delightful bakery section. He also insisted I learn how to use the ice cream dispenser, which was apparently a customer favourite during the summer. Three flavours, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, with various toppings like sprinkles and chocolate chips.

Then came the moment I met my her, Kasey.

She was stunning, mid-20s, with shocking pink hair and bright green eyes. When she smiled, dimples formed on both cheeks, accentuating her flawless teeth. Her uniform was snug, hugging her large breasts and rounded stomach. The buttons of her tight black jeans strained slightly, emphasizing her hourglass figure. When she spoke, her breasts moved with the rhythm of her laughter, and I found it a challenge to keep my focus on her eyes.

We hit it off immediately. Kasey had grown up here and knew all the local spots, offering to show me around. We exchanged numbers and planned to go out for food and drinks on Saturday.

Finally, I’d made a friend.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of serving customers, chatting with Gregory and Kasey, and getting the hang of things.

At 5 PM, when the store closed, I went to collect my belongings. I picked up my Tupperware and paused. It was empty.

All 24 cookies were gone.

Gregory hadn’t eaten any, and I certainly hadn’t either. That only left one possibility.
Kasey appeared beside me, laughing. “Sorry about that! They were irresistible!”
I giggled, pretending not to care, but inside, something shifted. A deep, unfamiliar sensation settled in the pit of my stomach. The image of Kasey sneaking into the back, savouring each cookie, replayed in my mind. My thighs pressed together instinctively as heat pooled between my legs. Was I… turned on by this? By her eating all my cookies?
My face burned as I forced myself to push the thought aside.

As we exited the store, a tall, muscular man greeted us, Jack, Kasey’s boyfriend. He playfully slapped her ass, making it jiggle like a jelly shot. My heart sank slightly, realising she’d never be interested in me. I masked my disappointment with a polite smile as I bid them goodnight.

On my walk home, my mind kept circling back to the image of Kasey, her fingers picking up each buttery, rich cookie, her lips parting as she took a bite, the soft moan of enjoyment she might have made. The thought had me hot all over.

As soon as I got home, I rushed to my bedroom, my soaked panties evidence of the effect she had on me. Grabbing my vibrator, I gave in to the fantasy, replaying the scene over and over as I pleasured myself again and again.

I’m going to bake her some more for my next shift. I wonder what flavour she likes the most. And what else I can tempt her with.

Kasey’s Perspective:

Another day, another shift at the little grocery store I’ve been working at for the past two years. It’s not glamorous, but it pays the bills, and honestly, I kind of like it here. The customers are mostly friendly, and Gregory, my manager, is decent enough. The best part is the bakery section, I swear half my paycheck goes to those fresh pastries.

Today was a bit more interesting than usual because we got a new hire. Lucy.

The moment she walked in, I knew she was different from the usual hires. She was cute, small, blonde, with this kind of innocent energy about her. Almost doll-like, with her delicate features and big, wide, blue eyes. Her uniform was way too big, practically drowning her, but even through the loose fabric, I could tell she had a nice little shape to her. A bit on the slim side, but still appealing.

She looked nervous when Gregory introduced us, but I made sure to give her my warmest smile. She blushed a little, adorable. We hit it off pretty quickly, chatting between customers. I learned she’d just moved here, didn’t know many people, and was trying to get back on her feet after a bad breakup. She seemed sweet, a little shy, but eager to please. When she mentioned she baked, I perked up immediately. I’ve got a serious sweet tooth, and homemade cookies? Hell yes.

As the shift went on, I started noticing something. Every time I glanced at Lucy, she seemed to be looking at me already, her eyes flickering away as soon as I caught her. It happened once, then twice… then too many times to ignore. Was I imagining it? Maybe she was just nervous, trying to get a feel for the new workplace. Or maybe it was something else. Either way, it made me hyper-aware of her presence in a way I hadn’t expected.

When I took my break, I wandered into the back room and noticed the note she left on a Tupperware container. “Help yourself.” A quick peek inside revealed thick, golden-brown cookies. The smell alone had my mouth watering. I grabbed one, took a bite, and immediately groaned.

Jesus, they were good.

Buttery, sweet, with a hint of banana, dangerously addictive.
One cookie turned into two. Then three. I told myself I should stop, that I’d leave some for the others, but I just… couldn’t. They were too good, too rich, too perfectly soft. Before I knew it, I had eaten half the container.

My stomach felt full, almost uncomfortably so, a heavy warmth settling deep in my stomach. I leaned back in my chair, pressing a hand to my middle as I tried to convince myself to stop. But the taste lingered on my tongue, teasing me, and before I knew it, my fingers were reaching for another. And another. Each bite made me feel even heavier, my waistband pressing a little tighter, but I just couldn’t resist. The pleasure of the sweetness outweighed the discomfort, and soon enough, the entire container was empty.

When Lucy went to grab her things at the end of the day, I watched her pick up the now-empty container. Her expression flickered with confusion for a split second before realization hit. I couldn’t help myself, I laughed.
“Sorry about that! They were irresistible!” I admitted. She giggled, but there was something else in her eyes. A flash of something I couldn’t quite place.

Interesting.

As we left for the night, Jack was waiting for me outside. He smacked my ass playfully, making me squeal. I leaned into him, feeling his solid warmth against me. Lucy smiled at us, but there was something forced about it. Was she… jealous? No, that couldn’t be right.

Still, as I walked away with Jack’s arm draped around me, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Lucy had been watching me all day. And I had to admit, I kind of liked it.

I hope she brings more cookies next shift.
