chapter 1 - recieving the call

A loud and powerful buzz awoke peter from his daydream.

He had set an alarm on his phone to remind him of the very important meeting he was about to have with a woman named Ashley. He knew little about her or how their meeting would go but hopefully she was about to become his new live-in landlord, because she was making him the offer of a lifetime.

Her house was just outside of downtown Toronto and she was looking for a new tenant to live with her. Normally this wouldn't appeal to Peter, who enjoyed his privacy, but she was only asking for $100/month for rent. He knew there was a catch but he had nothing to lose so he agreed to do a video call with her.

He picked up his phone, shut off the buzzing alarm and turned on his computer monitor.

Peter joined the call as a beautiful yet full face filled his screen.

"Hi there, so nice to finally meet you I'm Ashley!" she said with a big grin and a hint of laughter.

"Hey nice to meet you too, thank you for deciding to call me" said Peter.

"Oooh so polite!" she joked, "The pleasure is all mine".

Peter smiled into his webcam.

"So I'm sure you have tons of questions about why I'm only asking for $100 per month for rent--" began Ashley as Peter quickly interrupted,

"Yes I couldn't believe my EYES when I saw your ad, you do realize that 100 bucks a month for a place in Toronto is practically theft right?!"

Ashley chuckled.

"Well aren't you spunky. Of course I know, but it's because there's something special about my house that tends to make people not want to live with us"

"Oh I see" said Peter, "I figured there HAD to be some kind of catch... wait did you say 'us'?"

"Yes, I live with three other people which would make you the fifth roommate of our house" said Ashley with a pause at the end as if she was contemplating something.

"Oh ok gotchya, I'm fine with that" said Peter with relief, "Is that the catch? That there are a lot of roommates?"

Ashley laughed again in a way that radiated beauty.

"Oh no no but my roommates are kind of related to it. We're a content house, which basically means that each one of us is a content creator. So as content creators we're always filming or streaming what's happening in our house, but we're not just regular content creators... we make... adult content"

"Wait hold on, are you telling me that you guys are just filming porn everywhere in the house all of the time?"

Ashley began laughing hard

"Oh my god no honey no, we don't really do that type of adult content, it's more like softcore fantasy stuff and we would never force you to be in any of our adult videos without your consent or film in your room without your permission"

"Oh... well that doesn't sound so bad, as long as I'm not gonna be in any porn videos or have to watch people doing it I don't really mind at all" said Peter, thinking about how the price was worth the unique living situation.

"Well you might end up on a livestream or two if someone films through the halls while you're in one but other than that you'll be good" said Ashley

"I just wanted to do this video call to see if you're the right fit for our house but I can already tell that I vibe with you" she said.

There was the slightest hint of a smirk in her face as she finished that last sentence, a barely noticeable fire in her eyes.

"Oh well that's good to hea--" peter was interrupted by Ashley this time

"You can move in as early as next week. Looking forward to seeing you soon love, Ciao!"

The call abruptly ended.

"Well I guess I'm her new tenant now" Peter thought to himself.

He started packing his bags with anticipation.
