Chapter 1

The king, of course, wanted his best knight back in action as soon as possible, and so he had a promising young page assigned specifically to aid knight Hildebrandus during his recovery.
The page's name was Olin, and compared to Hildebrandus he was quite slight - smaller, thinner, and much leaner than the bulking muscles and mass of Hildebrandus' impressive physique. Olin has plain black hair, a plain face, narrow shoulders, and a straight build - whereas Hildebrandus has gloriously curly and shiny red hair, a handsome if scarred face that turns the heads of men and women alike, and a broad build that shows off his sturdiness and strength.
Standing over the bedbound knight, Olin felt as if their strength shifted; he was the more powerful of the two, despite his frame, as Hildebrandus relied entirely on his care.
And so care Olin did.
He waited on Hildebrandus hand and foot, day and night, for the several long months of the knight's recovery. He helped dress and bathe Hildebrandus, and tended to his wounds and the changing of his bandages. He helped the knight move up from the bed and out to the balcony to get fresh air while he cleaned the room and laundered the bedding. And of course, he was completely in charge of Hildebrandus' meal plan and helped with feeding him. Eating lots of good food was integral to the healing process, and so Olin took this responsibility incredibly seriously.
He made sure that Hildebrandus always had access to something to eat, whether it be rich soups and stews made with bone broths and served with breads, or plates of cheeses, meats, smoked fish, and fruits, or rich meat pies stuffed full with potatoes and meats, or honeyed nuts pressed directly to Hildebrandus' mouth with sticky fingers. Olin would feed Hildebrandus throughout the day, topping him up as soon as there was room and delivering many belly rubs to speed along digestion - as he believed strongly in the good that the food would do to heal his knight's body.
And over the months, his knight's body grew. His belly, always stuffed full, began to retain extra padding and become wider where he lay in bed; his chest became softer, stretching out towards his arms which began to grow doughy with no sword to swing around; his hips thickened, as did his thighs which became larger with fat than Olin was entirely, and then even more so.
By the time that Hildebrandus was deemed well enough to return to training in the field, his body had grown so big that his belly rounded up and out into his lap even when he was laying back on the bed, and he needed Olin's help to rise from bed and move around.
Hildebrandus was eager to return to his king's service, and so Olin assisted him again with rising from the bed, Hildebrandus become winded even just from this.
Olin smirked, and poked Hildebrandus in his soft, massive gut.
"Come on, sir knight, let's get you to the field. I want to see what you can do."
