Good Girls Grow:
I am trying to gain weight, I'm consuming double my normal calories and then some and the weight just isn't appearing.
Now I have a very hectic lifestyle with two young kids to run after so I average at least 2500 calories burnt each day, that's including my resting calories.
My question is how can I remain as active as I am (and I can't slow down because this is literally what it takes to keep my house clean and my kids happy and fed) but also gain weight? I'm constantly eating and snacking, going for higher calorie foods, having protein powder shakes to up the calories, I've been trying to gain for over a month now and I'm just yo-yoing at the same weight š
I am getting bigger because I've outgrown most of my clothes but the scales aren't going up??
I can relate to chasing a young one around, in my case a toddler. Iād likely be gaining more if I didnāt have to move around as much.

Not exactly a feeder but a solid FA and fat encourager here. Just seeing mine and my wifeās confidence in our slowly growing bodies is a turn-on and I couldnāt see us living any other way :-)

Wife and I got some this year, though not really of a gaining theme. She got two, on each shoulder blade. Sheās a spider lover and got a tarantula on one and a black widow hanging from a beautiful lotus flower on the other. Scroll down among my redundant belly pics to see and comment on them :-) Mine is of a fleur de lis, on my right upper shoulder.

I discovered today that I may have picked up some collateral damage. I stepped on the scar today and was 240. Three years ago I was 190.
Not dramatic in comparison but I should watch myself š³
Nice work, man! Just one year ago, I was 190 and am now 205. Slow gainer, but Iām working on it :-)
Your other half still pushing 400? Thatās awesome. Mine has always been a big girl, but has gained more since we had our little boy than she did during the pregnancy :-) Probably about 340 now.

It's usually harder to get pregnant the heavier you are,but obviously not always the case. I knew a woman close to 600 who had two sets of twins. I had my first kid 18 months ago. It took a few years to get pregnant ( actively trying) I was 283 when I first got pregnant dropped down to 265 at one point and when my kid was born I was 275. A month after having them I was down to 258. Now I'm 295 or so. The heaviest I've ever been.

Lol so i guess we'll have to get lucky then. It would be amazing if we could get two sets of twins.Though guess I just got to be patient, good to know it isnt impossible though, just more difficult.

Spreading baby dust. But yes a lot of factors go into it. Has your partner got his sperm tested? My dude has low sperm count on top of me having PCOS and my thyroid was out of wack it made it near impossible.
Itās surely possible, indeed. My wife and I tried for five years for a child of our own. Thought all the failed attempts were due to her weight, plus other medical issues. We were proven that āit only has to work onceā in 2020. She gave birth at about 305 pounds and is now probably 340 :-) Our little boy was slightly premature (two weeks) but is happy and healthy!

It happened againā¦
My roommate and I were out running errands today and she suggested we go to Olive Garden for dinner. I agreed of course because I love Olive Garden. I ordered shrimp Alfredo and had quite a few breadsticks before the main arrived. So I was almost done with my meal and I could feel my shorts digging in but I thought theyād be fine when all of the sudden they popped open! My roommate didnāt notice so I said we had to leave immediately. She asked why and I told her what happened and she said ok letās go. Also unlike last time, my shirt did not come anywhere near covering my gut. We paid and left and I tried holding my purse in front of me so it would be less noticeable. I was so embarrassed.
The thing is, I really did have faith in these shorts. I knew they were tight but I didnāt think they were that tight! I bought them at the beginning of summer!
On the drive back to our apartment, I could see me roommate taking glances at me out of the corner of her eye while she drove, but she never said anything.
Well. Time for some new shorts again!
