If he is not happy being fat, then I doubt he would be happy thin. He sounds like he has a self esteem problem. He should love himself at any size. He is probably more concerned as to what others think of him.

I am not sure where my fa came to be. My mom was always thin but dad had this beer belly. My dad always thought being fat was a bad thing and always encouraged us kids to stay thin considering he never made an effort to lose weight. Yet, I have been attracted to others who are fat since I was 7 years old.

I was going through some old pictures the other day and keeping this guy with a flat tummy and realizing, that is me. After looking in the mirror and seeing my belly, I keep wondering how it got there. (Which we all know how it got there, lots of fattening foods)

I found myself gaining weight when encouraging others to gain weight too. It sometimes feels ironic or the tables are turned on you when you gain.
