“Wasn’t he amazing” she says for the hundredth time as we get in

Since Mia is a keiom every month I take her to one of the places she can go to meet and socialize with more of her kind

Usually I wouldn’t mind but since Mia has blossomed quiet a while ago I can’t help but worry that she might meet someone and decide she’s ready to become a care taker instead

“I mean he’s so cool like did you see his blue hair” she says happily as she cleans the kitchen

“Yea I saw” I reply feeling myself staring to get jealous

At this rate they’re going to be mating in no time

I notice that Mia has been quite for a few minutes and turn around to look at her

“Um Eric can I ask you a question” she says embarrassed

“Well mat told me that he’d like to be my meiom and I don’t ........well ...... um I don’t know what to expect” she asks and I can feel my blood boil from jealousy

I take a deep breath then sit next to Mia
“Are you sure you’re ready for that ? If you choose to become a meiom there’s no going back” as I finish my sentence I notice her face go pink and I realize she doesn’t know what I’m talking about

“Oh um Mia if you do decide to say yes allot of things are going to change for starters he’s going to um ........ ask you to do things with him” as I take a deep breath she looks at me curiously and asks
“What kind of things?”
“Well you see males whether humans or keiom or any animal have a need to ........ release some things with their partners.... it helps them feel well relieved and it allows them to start a new family with who they love”

“How can I start a family with mat ?” She asks

“Well first of all you both need to go through some tests they make sure you’re both healthy enough to have babies and after that it’s all up to you but urrrr make sure you don’t rush into anything make sure it’s someone you love” I say before getting up and heading to my room not wanting to talk about the sexual aspect

The next morning I get curious about what Mia is going to do

“Mia come on grab your breakfast and join me” I ask

She grabs her breakfast bar and takes a bite while I take a bite of my pancakes

“So ..... do you want to be mats ... partner?”

“Well um I’m not 100% sure but I decided that next month when I see him I’ll tell him I’ll do it” she says a little excited

“Okay well that’s nice I’m anyway after you two have decided the month after that you’ll both do the tests and the month after that you two can .... um mate” I say hoping that the time ahead will help me come up with a solution

“W wait Um how many months is that ?” She asks confused

“Till you guys decide to mate ? Um three” I reply before taking a bite of my pancakes

“That’s going to take forever” she mumbles annoyed

I decide to look through my morning emails and read the news when I notice something interesting

“Studies show that male keiom’s think more than governments would like ........
They have also developed a sense of what they believe to be is a perfect mating keiom a sense that follows human standards regarding things like weight,...,..,.......
keioms follow this standard strictly and find obese keioms unattractive and note mate worthy ” and as I read that a plan immediately fell into place

“Mia you know how I let you watch movies every now and then,how I let you have real food,.....when you decide to become a care taker you can’t do any of those things” I say calmly

“W what really? Never?” She asks disappointed

“Never... but I have an idea” I say mischievously

“What is it ?” She asks intrigued

“Mia you have been an amazing keiom for the last 5 years so let me make it up to you how about for the next 3 months you let lose ? Eat some real food ,watch some movies... like what we do for your birthday but everyday” I say and I see her face immediately light up with joy

“That sounds like an amazing idea” she says and I set my plan in motion

I head the the fridge and grab her a huge stack of pancakes I drenche it in maple syrup and place it in front of her

“But wait make sure you also have 3 bars a day so I don’t get questions for the organization” she nods her head yes happily and I smile since everything she’s going to be eating is going to be stored as fat
