We arrived at the cruise ship and checked in. We both decided it had been a long day so we went to our room unpacked the bare essentials and went in search of food. I was starving, so I got Meat Deluxe burger which had steak and bacon, cheese was oozing out of the sides, as was the grease, then a huge mountain of fries next to it. Amy ordered a salad. I devoured the meal leaving only the side salad. I’ve never been one for greens. I was just about to say I was stuffed and couldn’t eat another bite when the waiter brought out the desserts menu. There was a picture of the most delicious looking chocolate sundae and all thoughts on not being able to eat another bite were gone. I ordered the sundae and Amy ordered the cheesecake. I dived into the sundae when it came. Being on army rations for so long made my hunger insatiable. When I finished i noticed Amy had only eaten half of her slice of cheesecake. This was normal for her as to keep the slim figure she wanted. However with all the excel is in the army I never needed to watch how much I ate, it would always be burned off. So it was normal if she couldn’t finish or didn’t want to finish something she would slide it over to me. So that’s exactly what she did. After polishing that off we headed up to bed, we were both exhausted from the day we’d had so we went to sleep.
The next morning I woke up ravenous. The amount of food I had consumed the night before must have stretched out my stomach and it felt way more empty than normal. We headed down to the breakfast buffet and I piled my plate high with eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread, toast and beans. Before I knew it I had finished and was heading back towards the buffet to get more. Once I had finished, I finished off Amy’s omelette and we went out on to the deck to explore. There was an on board swimming pool, we decided to rest by the pool for a while our food settled and then have a little swim together. Before we knew it, it was lunch time followed by dinner. We laid by the pool. Me with a hand resting on my belly which was rock hard and bloated from all the food I had eaten today. We sat and watched the sun set together Amy having a few glasses of wine and me a few bottles of beer before eventually heading up to bed for the night.
