They went out to eat multiple times a week and spent a lot of time sharing fun weekend road trips and adventuring. Taylor never tried to force food on her, although he certainly encouraged a few bad decisions (or several dozen) here and there. Jade wasn’t a huge eater by Taylor’s standards, but she also wasn’t exactly mindful of her daily calories. Fried foods, Mexican, fast food— she enjoyed it frequently, and all without the guilt that often plagued many women. He only found her binges like that first night at his apartment returning very occasionally— usually triggered when she became overloaded in studies or overly stressed.
The problem for Jade was that when the binges came, they lasted sometimes for days.
Taylor would come home during these times to find her in an almost trance-like state. She would be propped up with pillows on their bed, surrounded by books and notepads— cramming her mouth every few minutes with toffee candy, butterfingers, and other bagged brand name candies while she poured over her exam material. Her anxieties seemed to cut off the part of her brain that rationally would have stopped her from consuming 2,500 calories in mini Reeses cups in a 2-hour sitting. She usually drank pretty heavily during these times as well. Her alcohol tolerance was also nothing to be scoffed at. She could put away a bottle and a half of wine far more impressively than any of Taylor’s old college room mates could ever boast to handle beer or liquor.
Her weight climbed incrementally with their new lifestyle and was supplemented in heavy jolts with these anxiety spurts. Every time she would catch a break from a stress filled run of exams, she would seemingly snap out of it— and often commented on her piggish behaviors and newly added weight with embarrassment.
What followed was always a few weeks of denial where she would continue to stretch her normal clothing on and pretend as if nothing had changed. It was only a matter of time though, as Taylor would observe, before she would fall back into an even longer binge marathon than the last.
Taylor rarely caught Jade on the scale, but he was a good judge of size and estimated that after the first year of living together— she had involuntarily put on atleast 25 lbs. That put her at around 185 pounds around Christmas of ‘19.
Watching Jade’s body slowly transform had really been the icing on the cake for Taylor— who mentally had been cheering for her absent-minded overeating behaviors. He already loved spending time with Jade, and now her body had really started to show the results of her bad habits.
Jade’s thighs and ankles were thicker and more substantial, and what little remains of a thigh gap she had possessed when they met had more or less vanished. They rubbed together now when she walked. Her arms, mostly around the shoulders, had started to round out— and her breasts had become a little fuller. Most of the weight, however, had again seemed to favor her belly. The little lower tummy bump that Taylor had first observed on their first date had turned into a nice, squeezable paunch on her waist— the upper half too now gaining some horizontal traction beneath her new 34C cups.
