Chapter 3

"Ugh." He leaned back on his bed and held himself up with his arms out behind him. His belly was full of three cheeseburgers and three meduim fries from Wendy's. His belt wasn't straining, yet. His belly stuck out with a roundness that most FFA would enjoy and fantasize about rubbing. His arms gave way with a loud snap and he fell back on his back and landed on his phone.

"Piece of shit phone." He said as he wiggled his weight onto the phone. "Not like you even work right. Stupid fucking phone." He said to his phone as it started to creak under his weight of a full bellied Rex. He just placed his hands behind his head and dozed off for some well needed shut eye.

When he woke it was three-forty five. He sat up and rubbed his belly. "The swelling went down." The thought. "I guess thats good...more room for dinner" He thought to himself. He yawned and streched out. Arching his back while his belly was pushed out and throwing his hands in the air and then clenching them into fists. He slunped over after he was done stretching and placed his hands between his knees and let them droop. He hung his head as he got his composure back. He finally sat back up after several minutes of clearing his mind and yawned again.

He put on his sweatshirt and walked out of his apartment and locked the door behind him. It was five-forty three.

He was greeted at the door with a hug and a pat on the back as Kate and Will welcomed him back into an oh-to-familiar-setting. He felt an ache in his heart and an empty feeling in the pit of his belly. His old girlfriend's house. It was a happy sadness that filled him with joy and sorrow as his memories danced in his head and reminded him of the love he had felt for her. He felt like crying from the pain and happiness. But he was a strong guy who didn't like to show his emotions to anybody but a select few. He just swallowed the emotions, yet he felt them deeply everywhere in his body. To keep his mind from getting the best of him he asked; "Whats for dinner?"

"It's good to see ya Rex!" Will said as he slapped Rex on the back and smiled.

"Yeah tell me about it. It's nice to see you guys again." Rex replied.

"He's to thin!" Kate yelled from in the kitchen. "I know! Lets fatten him up! We don't want him to freeze to death this winter!" She yelled to the men from the kitchen.
