Chapter 1 - dedication

Note-I did not write this story. It was originally published in 1911 by Little Brown and Company. It was written by William Johnston and is available in the public domain. I just wanted to post it here because I thought others would get a kick out of it as much as I did. It's amazing to read and realize it was published over 100 years ago!

If you enjoy this story I would highly recommend checking out the actual book or looking it up on google books because it has some amazing illustrations by Herb Roth.
