Chapter 1

Spring had arrived. It was quite early in the morning and the street was covered in fog. The streetlights gave the street a beautiful hue as you looked outside from the treadmill. One of the people who wanted to start the morning with exercise was Emily. The 24-year-old had been going to the gym for two weeks, determined to start a new life. Weighing 280 pounds, she made the treadmill shake considerably, and even a few minutes on the machine left Emily exhausted. Emily had been chubby her whole life. Her brown hair and blue eyes suited her well. However, her actually beautiful face was buried under a thick layer of fat. Men were not interested in the overweight Emily. No wonder Emily lacked self-confidence, as she had been teased her whole life because of her weight. But now she wanted to stick with exercise.

Emily left the treadmill in good spirits. Once again, she had managed to keep going for a few minutes longer. On her way to the changing room, Emily bumped into someone else, supposedly by accident. She apologized immediately. “Watch where you're going with your fat ass. It's not going to get any smaller if you keep eating like that!” Emily was horrified. She hadn't expected that at all and tears sprang to her eyes. Lea, who was standing opposite her, simply continued: "Hey, you fat pig, there's a McDonald's across the street. I think that's more the place for you. I don't know why people like you are allowed in here when all hope is already lost. You'd never even eat a salad, looking like you do, you pig. Now get lost!"

That ended the conversation. Emily stood there silently for a minute, trying to process what had just happened. She couldn't hold back her tears and cried in front of the few members. Lea, the blonde, had left the store immediately. She had been really pretty with her big blue eyes and perfect figure, not particularly tall, but a real eye-catcher. While Emily stood there crying, a young man approached her and offered her comfort. Emily fell head over heels for him. He was also extremely handsome with his brown hair and three-day beard, quite tall and muscular, with a six-pack. "Don't listen to that girl, she doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb in the box! I think it's great that you're taking on the challenge. What's your name?“ Emily replied. ”Nice to meet you, Emily. Women like that should get a taste of their own medicine, but they rarely do, do they?" he asked. “You're probably right!” “You know what, Emily? I think I'll take care of her! Just wait, she'll see!” And with that, Jack left the store.

When Jack got into his car, he said, “I can't believe you really did that. She stood there crying for five minutes, you're the devil!” Lea had buried her face between her legs, she was so ashamed: “I feel so bad, why did you make me do that? She'll never be happy again. I hate you for it!” she said as she smiled at Jack. Jack and Lea had been a couple for years and were a very attractive couple, perfect looks, a beautiful couple. They were both very active people with a great thirst for adrenaline. They had been skydiving together, loved roller coasters, had climbed Mount Everest, and did everything that was action-packed. But vacations were expensive, which is why they had recently been seeking more and more adrenaline in their everyday lives. And they did that by putting each other in uncomfortable situations. A little exhibitionism here, uncomfortable behavior in public there, or even insulting fat people. Admittedly, today was the first time. So the thrill of adrenaline led to this scene at the gym, the adrenaline.
