chapter 1: the only thing to fear, is fear itself

Rose McDonugh had always been a bit of a mystery and a center piece of gossip in her small town of Chesterfield, California. Located only one hundred or so miles outside the big city of LA, it could have easily been a thousand. Chesterfield was a small town where everyone knew everyone and all their business.

As a youth and through high school, Rose was into her schooling and enjoyed science fiction. And to be honest, she could have cared less about the skinny and popular kids. Most of the young people in her town were just too caught up in fitting in, working out, and gossiping behind each other's backs. She found their whole existence mundane and redundant. So, Rose concentrated on her books and as far as her sexual tastes, they just ran in a slightly different direction from the thin sticks of Hollywood. Even from a young age, Rose knew herself and she wasnt about to pretend just to fit in. Where they dreaded ever gaining even a pound or two, Rose dreamt of feeding one of these skinny or muscle boys into a waddling mound of sexy, jiggling flesh.

It was no surprise to the popular kids that she only hung with nerds, usually fat nerds. To them it seemed like her natural place amongst the herd. In her freshman year she'd met and dated a lanky sophmore boy named Chad. Chad was about 5"10 and and all of 140lbs.

From the beginning, Rose and Chad were inseparable. The two could always be found eating huge meals at the cafeteria, the pizzeria or at one of the towns two buffets, just mashing down food. Due to their youth and school enforced athetics, their gluttony took time to show effects. No one really noticed their weight gain during their first year together. To the popular kids she was just some super smart nerd and Chad was a "nobody".

However, by the beginning of his junior and her sophomore years, the results of adding hundreds of thousands of calories to their diets began to show pronounced effects. Being a "shorty" at only five foot three, Rose's ten pound gain, put her up to around 130 pounds. She definitely wasnt fat by any means of the word. In fact, she'd filled out in all the right places. Her hourglass figured remained in tact. She now just added a little bump and flare to her dresses.

Chad on the other hand had gained over 60 lbs. 40 pounds of which came mostly over the summer when Chad and Rose had nothing to do but fill his belly full of all his most fattening foods while playing video games and watching movies together. Most of Chad's new and corpulent abundance went to his midsection, ass, and hips.

Upon arrival back at school, Chad's shocking weight gain was made even more prominent by the fact that he somehow seemed oblivious to how fat he'd gotten. Instead of updating his wardrobe to accompany his growing body, Chad mysteriously kept wearing some the same clothes from the year before, those that he could still squeeze into that is.

To everyone except he and Rose, Chad looked absolutely ridiculous. His jeans and even his slacks grew so full from Rose's constant feedings, that his panted legs looked like over stuffed sausages. Where they used to hang low over his tenners, the now fat filled pants rose up to become highwaters. However, it was his jiggling and ponderous belly spilling over his jeans and slacks that took the show. His giant gut entirely hid any sign of a belt buckle. Likewise, it seemed that all of his shirts had grown a little short as well, constantly coming undone, exposing his creamy and soft belly and love handles.

None of this was lost on the popular kids. The "in crowd" at Chesterfield High, were an extremly cruel bunch, calling him all kinds of cruel names like "Fat Boy, Piggy, Fatty Fat Fat" to name a few.

Midway through their freshman year, Rose had trimmed down a bit, got some new form fitting clothes, and contacts which removed almost all traces of so called "nerdinest". If she had wanted to, she could have crossed over to the darkside and joined the popular kids. While she had acquired the looks to do so, Rose quietly hated their kind. Cruel, dumb, mean, and ready to pounce on any weakness; they were everything she loathed. Plus, she and Chad were having the time of their young sexual lives.

Chad on the other hand returned in January from Christmas break 30 lbs heavier than when the first semester had begun. He'd been forced to buy new clothes when the button had popped off his favorite pair of "fat slacks".

Rose had just finished piling his plate full of the school's carb dense cafeteria food. As he began to waddle after his now hot girlfriend. The button hole suddenly ripped under the enormous pressure of his increased girth. There was a loud ripping sound, followed by the pinging of his metal button coliding with one of the cafeteria's metal tables. Then as if in slow motion, Chad's enormous belly splashed outwards. Jiggly waves of creamy, pale flesh surged foward and covered his legs almost half way down his thighs.

Laughter erupted and some wannabe ran up and slapped Chad's exposed belly hanging over barely visible briefs. His gelatinous belly shook and jiggle up and down, causing the crowded cafeteria to explode with raucous laughter. The popular kids formed a circle around him and were making pig snorts and squealing sounds.

Then, much to their surprise, both Rose and Chad seemed unphased by all of their taunts. He blushed at bit but that was all. Rose just walk over, pushed his huge tray of fiod to the floor. She then immediately grabbed him by one of his meaty saddle bags and planted a huge wet kiss on his lips all the while carressing his fattened belly. Chad was her man and she wasn't about to let these numbskulls ruin what they had together. Having someone else stick up for him right then and there, kept them at bay, for the most part. What they also didn't know was the fact that Rose and Chad both loved their taunts and jeers.

One kid in her class, Kenneth Sarcousi, or Kenny, proved to be a huge ally in protecting Chad and Rose from the brunt edge of cruelty that Chesterfield's meanest could deliver. Kenny was a popular stud but not a cruel minded idiot like the rest. Yes as a sophomore, Kenny was already a high school American quarterback, yet he managed to play classical piano and land the lead roles several during theatrical performances. Kenny was the school's leading citizen and his acceptance of the odd couple almost instantly put an end to the teasing.

Kenny was more than nice. He was kind and even provided Rose and Kenny safe harbor in his parents virtbual mansion up on the hill. While Kenny still had to keep rounds with the local "cool" committee, he definitely managed to spend time with the couple, laughing at the stupidity of the rest of his bunch, watching silly movies together, and always eating.

Kenny always insisted that they could order whatever they wanted and that he'd pick up their tab. At first Chad and Maria kind of balked at the suggestion, but after his constant insistence, it became ritual.

Rose being a smart girl and wise to the world was at first very leary of Kenny's motives. As much as they both liked Kenny, they joked with each other that his friendship would in the end be some dramatic prank. Even though Rose and Chad hated the idea of being betrayed, there was a part of them that loved the humiliation associated with his growing body. But much to their surprise, that day never came.

By senior prom of, Chad's senior and Maria's junior year of high school, Chad has become absolutely huge under Maria's constant feedings. Gaining almost another 80lbs during his last of high school, his transformation was complete. Over the course of the year spent mostly at Kenny house (surprisingly packed with rich and fattening foods), Chad's enormous belly swayed and jiggled with each of his now labored steps, causing him to waddle like some over due fat pregnant woman.

Rose was in heaven. She trimmed down another ten pounds just to emphasize their drastic differences. To almost everyone else but her, Chad was disgustingly fat. But there was one noted exception, Kenny.

Kenny likewise became enamoured with Chad's gluttonous ways and enormous belly. While not overtly coming out and adoring Chad's belly the way Rose did, Chad sad nothing while Rose massaged Chad's exposed belly hang. He even went as far to pretend to be sleeping one time while Maria hand fed Chad with one hand while pleasing herself with the other.

Maria never mentioned it to Chad as one, she didn't want to freak him out and two, she didn't want to mess up a good thing.
