I have this fantasy from time to time as well, though very dark.

All of you are amazing. I have to admit, I'm envious of your gains.

I love to pad as well. I have attached a photo with a beach ball belly!
Latest padding. A pillow stuffed into reversed nylon briefs. I like padding with minimum clothes and as realistic as possible.

I prefer OCs for weight gain art personally. What little art I do is always my characters.

I retired from the military reserves in 2013. I had to stay in shape for twenty five years, the last ten or so were increasingly difficult to keep weight off. When I retired I started to gain deliberately and I have enjoyed the gain, more than I could have imagined.
I'm up to 230 lbs. from 206 lbs. I know, not a huge gain, but I have a 48" waist, bubble butt and thick thighs, life is good.

Update for Friday, 12/03/2021:
I weighed myself this morning and...I'm still at 215 pounds. No difference. Lets see if I'm able to gain any weight by next week Friday.
Keep at it (I mean eating). I found that I would get to a new high weight only to go back down to my previous weight. I'd binge get back up and maybe only go down a couple of pounds. I worked my weigh up to 230 lbs. from 215 lbs. doing this, good luck! and of course enjoy yourself!

Is anyone purposely gaining, or have purposely gained, weight despite having a pre existing condition that the extra weight could make worse?
What was it where you decide to YOLO it and roll the dice? Do you worry about it? Has your condition worsened or even got better?
I have hypothyroid decease before I was treated for it, I actually didn't really gain any weight, it caused a very low heart rate. Since I started to gain, the only change was increases my dosage, due to my increased weight. I also have acid reflux, but that is treated with prescription antacid.

I have a forty eight inch waist which is firm and round, obviously visceral fat. I'm afraid this is more to do with genetics, than what I have had to eat. I do like beer, but not in anyway excessive, so that's not if for me. My dad had a big gutt, and I seem to recall his belly was firm too.
