Chapter 11
The first thing she noticed was that Larry wasn't there. Seeing her panic, Andy lied, "He's just popped out for a minute to take a call, he'll be back soon". Momentarily relieved she continued breathlessly into the room. The second thing she noticed was the room looked different. She wasn't sure but there seemed to be less stuff in the room. like furniture was missing or something. She ceased wondering when she saw the third thing. A huge cushioned chair...well more like a bench sat in the middle of the room. It looked almost industrial in it's design and able to hold a lot of weight. She hadn't noticed, but It was at least double her width at her widest point."What...the hell.....is....that?", she struggled the words out between panting breaths, already guessing the answer. "Well, I wanted you to be comfortable once you were up and walking again", he answered knowing she must be getting some inkling of it's unusual design. Too tired and exhausted to argue, she shuffled over to it, her fat undulating with each step. her legs were dying from the exertion and wobbling under her as they threatened to buckle.
As she turned around to face her huge backside towards it, the chair automatically lowered itself to aid her sitting. She rested her huge butt down with a splash and felt the cushions welcoming her form. The frame itself, didn't even judder. To her shock the frame raised itself up again until she was in an upright position. It felt amazing to have the weight off her poor chubby feet but now her belly sat heavily, resting on top of and between her legs. She realised the chair itself was quite roomy, despite her size.
"I had it made specially, to help you around the house", Andy coo'd still looking like the loving boyfriend. "thanks" She said as she still huffed for breath. She didn't feel grateful at all, more terrified that he now saw her as someone who needed such a device. She sat there, drenched in sweat, trying to catch her breath. Her hunger pangs were getting stronger by the minute now and she wasn't sure she'd be able to resist asking for something to eat, if Larry didn't get back soon. As if by her command the doors on the other side of the room opened. She looked up desperately, hoping to see him, to be saved from the ticking timebomb of her unstoppable gluttony.
Instead though, pushing a cart wilting under the weight of all the food crammed onto it, came Gary with a big gleaming smile on his face. Without a word he brought the cart straight to her and began unloading the cart. She wanted to say no, but knew she couldn't. Her hunger was already starting to take over her sensible mind again. She figured she could at least have some to help her refocus. "thought you might want something to eat whilst you waited", Andy said gently. A large table on wheels was pushed from across the room by Andy and locked down in front of her.
She had no memory of seeing that table before but was immediately distracted by the food being laid out in front of her. Free from all grace her hunger took over and she began gorging herself before he'd put even half the food on the table. Like a person possessed and with no thought she had helplessly switched back into hog mode and set about stuffing handfuls of food into her eagerly awaiting mouth. The late breakfast and the exhausting walk served only to make her eating all the more ravenous. Andy watched in awe as she shovelled more food than he thought safe into an already overstuffed mouth. She was so lost in eating she didn't notice him coming out with a second, third and forth cart, all brimming with fatty goodness. Andy sent a text to an unknown number simply saying, "It's time".
Rachel is lost to the world for a good 1 hour 45 minutes whilst she practically inhales the food before her. It's only as she reaches her last plate that she starts to regain any sense of self. She sees the extra trays and Andy stood there smiling, like a priest about to begin a sermon. She also notices a few cameras on a tripod and Andy's hip camera hanging off his belt.
"What's going on?" She says whilst swallowing the last of her food. "Wh..wh..where's Larry?", She says, panic betraying her voice. The table is moved away and Andy calmly walks over the her and gently takes her hand. "I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news....but Larry isn't coming". Rachel pulls her hand from his instinctively. A few seconds pass as she processes what he has said, tears welling up in her eyes. "What??" She stammers out as the tears start to flow. "I'm afraid he never was coming Rachel. Larry quit months ago".
It felt like the floor opened up from under her. panic and terror ripped through her as her mind grasped his words. "I only told you he was here to test your resolve. I must say, I was impressed that you even got out of bed. I thought for sure you'd just refuse and demand your morning feast, happy to stay in bed and fill it with your greed". She could barely comprehend the words that were coming out of this familiar stranger.
"Still", he smirked, "the sight of you lugging that titanic body of yours down the corridor was worth it". "What's this all about? it's about you Rachel. Like everything always is. It's about Rachel fucking Stevens. it's about a girl whose quest for fame spewed like a poison out of her for years, turning everything she touched toxic.
A girl who thought nothing of the people she screamed at, spat at and trampled over on her single minded quest for stardom. A career that brought her no satisfaction, save for fleeting moments that were as empty and vacuous as her life. She would do anything to feel that spark, even turn her poison in on herself. Your desire for fame and riches drove you to this, it pushed you out the door and onto a path you were ill equipped to return from.
Your insatiable greed for fame and attention was quickly replaced by an insatiable greed for food and sugar. You swapped one addiction for another and are now paying the price. You've reached the brink and I'm here to tell you, you're going over it, whether you like it or not. All my life I've dreamt about watching somebody destroy themselves with food. You, Rachel are that person. Now I know You'll try and deny it but the fact is, you're just too far gone.
You couldn't resist a bag of doughnuts if you're life depended on it. Well I'm here to tell you, it does depend on it, and there's no stopping this now. You're mine, to do with as I please."
