Chapter 4 - the bump in the night

When she awoke, Jane checked her cell phone and gasped at the time. It was almost midnight! She coughed, feeling an unbearable dryness to her throat and needing to get up for a glass of water.

Slipping on fresher clothes, she stepped out of her dorm room and began walking down the corridor to the kitchen area. She filled up a glass and began swallowing as much water as she could; feeling like she had been out in the desert, baking in the scorching heat. Out of the window, she could hear guys chatting noisily on the steps below. Their deep voices carrying and seeming to pulse through the walls.

Her head in her hands, still trying to fully wake herself up, Jane could feel herself getting more and more irritated. It was only Wednesday, what were these guys doing, drinking beer and keeping everyone awake at this time? Before she knew what she was even doing, she was flying down the stairs and charging to the main entrance, determined to give the guys a piece of her mind.

Power walking with determination, Jane couldn’t stop herself as she turned the corner, ploughing straight into one of the guys, coming back inside for more beers. She could only see their chest and she felt her body being bounced off them, losing her balance and stumbling sideways; only just keeping upright as the guy grabbed her by the arm with fast reflexes.

“Watch where you’re going!” she spat, highly irritated. But as she looked to see who it was, her eyes widened in realisation. It was Tommy! “Oh, um… sorry…” she murmured, suddenly highly conscious of herself. The butterflies in her stomach around this guy were worse than ever. Her arousal spiked, her nostrils filling with his pheromones and she suddenly felt weak in the knees.

“No, I’m so sorry!” Tommy declared, turning and unnecessarily taking all of the blame. “Are you alright?” he asked, walking closer to Jane and looking at her all over, as if checking for bruises. “I didn’t mean to… I didn’t see you. I never noticed…” he rambled, almost talking to himself.

“Hurry up, Tommy!” shouted one of the guys from just outside the door. “Get the beers already!” he insisted, using a louder voice than ever.

Jane glanced outside, feeling only a small spark of irritation now. But as she looked back, Tommy was still staring at her. “I’m fine,” she breathed, having never been this close to the tall hunk before. His aftershave was so nice. She felt the guy touching her arm, still looking to see if she was bruised. But Jane’s heart was racing a mile a minute and her breath was going to be showing signs of strain any second now.

“Are you sure?” Tommy asked, locking eyes with her and continuing to come ever closer.

Jane couldn’t help her eyes slipping down to Tommy’s lips as the powerful man towered over her. She felt Tommy’s hand glide from her arm, down to her hips as the athlete was now holding her in front of him.

“You’re beautiful!” Tommy whispered at long last, turning his head to one side and leaning in for a kiss.

Jane felt Tommy’s warm lips on hers and she crumbled into the man’s mighty hold. Pretty soon, Tommy had her up against the wall, his strong hands exploring her body with precision. Pleasured moans escaped from both of their lips and shocked catcalls from the drunken guys outside seemed to fade far into the background: “What the hell are you doing, Tommy?”
