Bad at love handles

That London girl happened to be Bunny. She had a cute yet feisty personality. For all of her positive traits as a person, one flaw stood out for her; her bulging belly that she developed after breaking up as Ashley Frangipane's girlfriend for several months.

For all the lovely dates they had together, it was always accompanied by food. It didn't matter to the both of them given how wild and carefree they were as a couple. It was interesting how they made the relationship work despite how Bunny was enrolled in college and Ashley was starting to become an up and coming musician by the alias Halsey.

Bunny didn't mind at first that Ashley had to sacrifice dates for recording sessions and fan meet ups. However, as the summer went on; Bunny just could not find a common time to meet Ashley.

"Hey Ash, I think we should end this. I need to help my parents out in India anyway. I'm sorry. Maybe we should keep in touch?" Bunny sent a text message on a sombre September evening. Whilst Bunny had tears in her eyes sending the text, she knew it was for the best; given how distant the both of them had been as the summer months passed.

4 years had gone by soon enough. Not once had Ashley contacted Bunny since the break up; not even a direct message on Twitter; their former constant mode of contact. Bunny had completed college in India and was about to embark on a new beginning, just in a different body she started college in. Years of stress eating from both the rough break up with Ashley as well as the college assignments didn't do well on her figure. A bulging double belly with wide hips were the damage to be laid bare when Bunny saw herself in a mirror.

"How the fuck did I get this fat?" Bunny reflected at herself, looking back at the flabby figure facing her. She knew she had put on some weight but she didn't think she got this heavy. Whilst Bunny had felt a sense of guilt and shame for letting herself go; little did she know that Ashley's feelings were far more complex then that.
