Chapter 19 - change of plans

And so time progressed. Brendan had his movie shoot to attend, So he was going to be away for a few weeks as they filmed. Leaving just me and his mother alone in his small apartment while he was away. In this time me and Katie continued to bond. Getting to know each other more and more. The both of us went over more of my wedding plans, and refining them. "Now you don't want a DJ dear, Having the dance floor be filled with nothing but cheesy songs and smoke everywhere is a bad combo for sure!" She protested at the idea of Brendan wanting t3o get a DJ "So you think a band would be better?" I asked. "Absolutely dear, you cannot beat a live performance!!!" And she did have a point, I wasn't exactly a big fan of DJs

In the time that Brendan had been away, I had been doing more reporting gigs. I got the chance to interview this legendary music artist! Which I was a big fan of back in the day! So I couldn't believe when I was told I'd be interviewing him. Oh yeah and Rebecca still hated me, And it was awkward when the two of us had to work together on a live broadcast, As soon as the cameras stopped rolling. Here yes told me everything on how she feels about me

Also having Katie around was such a life saver, I'd come home from work and Brendan's apartment would be clean as a fiddle. She would also make pretty tasty dinners, but i felt like she would make a bit to much. I ended up usually taking left overs to work, so that saved me some money!

A problem had started to arise however. The day before Brendan was due back he gave me a phone call. His agent had been in contact with him. A TV studio was wanting him to replace Shawn mustard on a show they where filming. Due to the actors behaviour on set and the charge of assault on the movie he had recently been working on. At first u thought this was good news! Another TV role for Brendan, however this was before Brendan informed me that they had already filmed a lot of the show, but will have to now pretty much reshoot everything they had down so far, and the reshoots where happing in August..... When the two of us where supposed to be getting married and then going on honey moon.... I know, great timing. Brendan said he hadn't accepted the offer yet. As he wanted to discuss it more with me when he got back and potentially brining the wedding forward. we soon said we loved each other on the phone before he hanged up.

"Move the wedding forward?!" Katie said to me surprised as i told her what brendan had suggested. "Yeah... He feels like this would help us financially, and considering that this movie can potentially become big..." "he thought that bringing the wedding forward and accepting the role would be a pretty good trade off" Katie finished my sentence "Yeah he did, but he wants to talk about it more with me tomorrow when he gets back"

Katie thought for a while "It would certainly be a rush, when was he thinking to bring it forward?" She asked "In a week" I sheepishly said "A week?!?!" Katie sounded Even more shocked now "What is that boy thinking!? Brining a wedding forward and then a week?!" I just stayed silent "So how long would the reshoots be?" Katie asked "He said that the reshoots would take awhile and also shooting the rest of the show would also take some time, his agent said it would be over a month or production, It's a pretty big show from the sounds of it" I said taking a seat

"A month you say?" Katie then had a thought, That would mean she would be spending more time with Michaela, which would mean she could start trying to grow her future daughter in law even more. Michaela might not have been aware of it, but Katie had noticed a slight gain since meeting Michaela, it wasn't much but she had gained a bit. Her noticing in Michaela hips slightly

"I guess a wedding next week could be possible, it would just take a lot of replanning dear" Katie said reassuringly. "I suppose your correct, I guess the life of a actor is usually busy with things changing and popping up" I just shrugged as I took a glass of red wine, Something myself and Katie had been doing most nights "I agree, a life in the spotlight can be a busy one" She smiled

The next day when Brendan arrived home, we discusesd the matter more. We decided to bring the wedding forward, But we also agreed that we will have are honeymoon after Brendan finishes filming for this show. On top of that, we decided we would move into a new place after the wedding, as this place was just way to small for us really. Also I was sick of the bedding arrangement we had going on.

So for the next week we frantically started reschedule the wedding. George was perfectly fine with us taking up his restaurant on a different day, and we manged to get a venue that would take us at such short notice. Now all that was left for the wedding was get the brides maids dresses and a few other things here and their, which i was going to deal with. While Brendan and his mum looked for a new place to live. Now normally this stuff would take awhile, But when your a somewhat famous actor and have money, you can speed this process up greatly. Together Brendan and his mother found this pretty great looking house, Brendan wasn't to into finding a big place, but his mother agreed she would also contribute towards the house, She considered it 'her wedding gift to us' which was nice of her. The house was a pretty big property, in a more rich area of the city. With a gated drive way, Garages, a big garden, the place even had a pool! This was certainly a house I'd never imagine I'd live in. We spent the day before the wedding taking some of our stuff from the old place to the new place. However Brendan then decided to stay the night at his apartment, saying "The next time I want to see you, is when you are walking down the Isle" Giving me a kiss he departed the new place. Leaving just me and Katie

"Ohhhhh it's the big day tomorrow! Excited?" She asked sounding excited. "I can't wait"

This chapter was more of a progression chapter, Probably the weakest chapter so far. But I'm wanting to progress the story without it being filled with a bunch of filler from now till the wedding haha
