Chapter 4 - big break!

A few days pasted, And life was normal again. The daily routine was just perfect, However that was about to change one afternoon when Mr Franklin approached my desk.

Michaela! He said in a serious but somewhat frantic tone, Patting his hand on my shoulder, Giving me a bit of a fright. I have a urgent proposition for you! I looked to him confused. We have an interview with the actor Brendan Robinson, Who plays the lead role in the new movie, Recreation. Oh that sounds exciting, i replied. "It is however l we have a serious problem. We have the camera crew, we have the interview location, But we have no interviewer!" How come? I asked puzzled. Rebecca just called in sick and she won't be able to do it, That's where you come in. I want you to do it. Startled i remained silent for a moment. But why me? I've never done anything like this before, Heck! I don't even know who this guy is! I said a bit panicked. Don't worry Michaela, He said reassuring. You can do it, I picked you as i feel like you can do with having a big break, Consider it a reward for all your hard work recently. He said with a smile. Why thank you Mr Franklin, I won't let you down! I know you won't Michaela.Oh yeah I forgot to say, The interview is happing in about a hour and a half he said. WHAT?!!!

After having a quick makeover and my hair done, I was in the back of Mr Franklin's car reading over the interview questions and a brief summary of Brendan Robinson's career, Funnily enough I had seen a movie he was in, But only a minor role, that i couldn't even remember the character. The interview was to be held in a 5 star Hotel, Stepping out the car, Mr Franklin, Lead me to the room where the interview was to be held. Walking through the hotel, it sure was fancy. Very clean also, i could see my reflection on the smooth tile floor. The room that the interview was in was also quite beauty to the eyes, Nice king side bed, Lovely decor and a window balcony. Gosh this sure is fancy, I said to Mr Franklin. "Indeed, If you think this is fancy, Just imagine what the folk that say here, House's look like". Yeah I can only imagine, I replied, thinking about what some rich folks houses could look like.

Brendan Robinson still hadn't arrived, But i didn't mind at all, It gave me more time to read the questions and remember them, Some of the questions where not just about the new upcoming movie, They where also about his life and him recently hitting it big, landing more and more important roles. Seems like he's going places, I thought to myself. Mr Franklin had headed back to the entrance of the hotel to wait for Brendans arrival, The crew began making the final preparations with the equipment making sure it all was working properly, As well as having my microphone sitting just in the right place for the best audio quality. Then suddenly, I received a text from Mr Franklin. Brendan Robinson had arrived. With that the crew got into their places, My nerves started to skyrocket, I could feel my hands becoming sweaty. I was only a few minutes away from doing the biggest thing in my career, Mess this big chance up and I'd be stuck doing small stories and some accounting on the side for good. With my career's future at stake. I calmed myself down, preparing myself for the moment this actor walked through that door. Then suddenly, the sound of the door opening could be heard. I turned suddenly facing the door, ready to meet this actor. However all the nerves and worries that I had, skyrocketed as i seen who walked through that door.
