Chapter 5 - the interview

I couldn't believe it, The man standing before me was the same guy i had bumped into a few days ago. There's no way he is Brendan Robinson! I thought with a shocked facial expression, Looking to him, i could also see he was a bit surprised to see me. I wonder what he's thinking right now

Just then, His surprise look vanished. Nice to meet you, I'm Brendan Robinson, And you are? He asked me reaching out his hand. I'm Michaela David's, pleased to meet you, I replied reaching out my hand, and shaking his. Pleased to meet you Michaela, I'm looking forward to the interview, He said smiling. Same here I nervously replied. What's this guys deal? He already knows who i am, Heck he even knows where i live! He clearly hasn't forgot based on the look on his face when he seen me. Is he just pretending this is our first encounter to not make things awkward in front of everyone? If so thank you! I thought to myself as we both got ready for the interview, My heart once again somewhat skipping a beat.
Soon enough it was time for the interview, I remembered some advice that Mr. Franklin had given me, And that was to pretend that I knew who he was during our interview. Sounds easy enough I thought. "3. 2 1. and action!" And with that the cameras had begun rolling, and the interview began

So Brendan i thank you for taking the time for this interview today, “No problem Michaela, I'm looking forward to it! It's actually really my first kind of interview like this!" He responded. I am to, this is actually my first interview I am doing! I replied to him. No way! Guess it's a first for both of us! Sure is! I replied back to him. So let us begin, Your hear today to promote your new movie, Recreation. Which you play the main character Jonathan Daniels. Who finds himself in a world that he doesn't quite remember, Tell me, What did you find appealing about this role? I asked him, still keeping up with my nerves. Well Michaela, When I was first approached for the role and had a look at the script, i fell in love with the story. A story about discovery and hardships of a man who wakes up in a world that is vastly different than the one he remembers. Where he must make a drastic decision for the future of his world, or this new world he is in. I honestly hope that audiences will find the film as engaging and emotional as I did filming for it. He said really enthusiastically. I'll definitely have to go see it, I responded. How does it feel to have such a big role in this movie? Looking at your past work, It really seems like your hitting it big time now! I asked him, Still not really knowing who the guy was, But the advice to pretend who he was sure was helping. I feel incredibly grateful, Especially to director Thomas Brain for approaching me and giving me this chance. It honestly means so much to me. He said sincerely. The interview went on for a while longer, Where we talked more about the industry, Brendans earlier acting career then finally about the movie again, And with that, The interview was over.

Thank you again for the interview today, I said to him slightly nervous. No problem! And may i say you did exceptionally well with this being your first! Thank you, i smiled back at him. Tremendous interview! Mr. Franklin burst out, as he made his way towards us, Thank you Mr. Robinson for agreeing to it! Oh really it was no problem! He said happily. And Michaela! I turned my head to face him. That was and ace interview! Think I'm going to have to give you some more of these in the future young lady! He said with a grin. Why thank you sir! Now then, He said. Just have the rest of the day to yourself, I'm gonna head back to the office with the crew and start editing this bad boy, Hopefully we can get it ready for publishing tomorrow! He said as he helped grab some of the equipment with the crew staff. Now then, Let's bounce! He happily said as we all made our way out the hotel room and to the entrance. It was the first time I had seen Mr. Franklin so happy, it just felt wrong and weird.

Well then I will be off Mr. Robinson, I thank you again for agreeing to are interview! Honestly it's totally cool Mr. Franklin. I'm just happy your happy it turned out good, I was worried I would get a bit nervous answering questions from a stranger, Brendan said getting slightly embarrassed. Well I'm not fully a stranger, I thought to myself as I stood next to him. Please you smashed it, and You Michaela also! Right I better be off, I'll see you first thing tomorrow Michaela, where we can see how well this interview turns out before we publish it, See you tomorrow *He said heading to he car and jumping in, Just leaving Me and Brendan on our owns

Small world we live in huh? Brendan said. Ummm yeah it sure is! I nervously laughed. Who would have thought that the girl who spilled my coffee and lost her purse, would be the same person that would be interviewing me today! Haha that's brilliant. He said with a grin. Brilliant? I asked. Sure, I did say maybe we will cross paths again one day didn't I? Yes i do recall you saying that i responded. Well then, As a token of my gratitude, for the smooth interview, Why don't I take you out for dinner? I mean if your not busy that is, He asked somewhat awkwardly. Oh ummm... Cmon Michaela! You've got a smoking hot guy here asking you out to dinner! There's no way in hell your gonna give up this opportunity! Cmon girl who got this! I thought, Hyping myself up. Sure! I'll gladly take up your offer brendan, I smiled to him. Great! Come with me to my car, I know a great place near by! Sure lead the way! I replied excitingly, I can believe I'm actually going out for dinner with a guy! With thoughts rushing threw my head, I started to blush slightly as Brendan lead to to his car, To my surprise it wasn't that fancy, but it still looked nice. He opened the car door for me and helped me in, Soon he joined me in the car. Starting his engine, he began to drive to our destination. And I was beyond excited for what the rest of this evening had in store!
