Chapter 1 - Furniture Shopping

After going round all of his local furniture shops, Andrew was feeling disappointed. He had just moved into his apartment and had little to no furniture. In fact, all he had was a tv and its cabinet. He was out looking for a chair, preferably reclining, and a bed but everything he saw was either way out of his budget or so horrible it wouldn't be worth buying, as they were so cheap they'd break within a year.

Disheartened, Andrew was driving home when he passed a yard sale. With what looked like a good selection of furniture. He parked up and walked over to the furniture on the lawn. It was a magnificent set made from solid oak with a dark stain. The set was better than anything he saw all day, and it had all the pieces he needed:

A bed, a chest of draws, a coffee table, and a dining set. Also set up next to the oak wood set of furniture was a recliner that looked practically brand new. Inface all the pieces were in great condition. Andrew felt an almos magnetic-like pull towards these pieces, but as he added the prices up on his phone's calculator, his heart suddenly dropped. It came out to be a couple thousand over his entire budget.

Really wanting the furniture he went over to the owner, an older looking woman, to see if maybe he could haggle the price down being thay it was later in the day and he would be buying the whole set.

Before he could say anything, the owner spoke: "I've seen you looking at that set over their."

Andrew responded, "Yeah, I'm interested in buying the set and chair. How about..."

Andrew was about to give an offer when " I'll sell you the lot for 700$. How's that?" The woman said

He had to hold back his excitement. It would be hard to find even one piece of that set, in that condition, for that price, let alone the whole lot. Naturally, he accepted and paid the woman before loading as much onto his truck as he could. The first trip, he managed to take the bed, the chair, and the coffee table in his second trip he managed to take the rest.

Once back in his apartment, Andrew went about placing the furniture where he wanted them, leaving the dresser till last. When he got around to the dresser, he thought it felt heavier that it should but assumed it was just because of friction with the carpet. It wasn't unill he went to put his clothes away thay he realised the draws were full of clothes. Really nice clothes, in various sizes from XL to 10XL. In the bottom draw, he found a rather robust looking scale, which he took out and placed in his ensuite as he'd been meaning to by a scale anyway. Also, in that draw, he found a couple of really nice, high-quality belts and a jewellery box with watches, rings, and a couple of chain necklaces.

The smallest outfit in the draw was a chic purple suit, and Andrew decided to try it on. Once in, he looked in the mirror and paired it with a gold watch, a few rings, a matching chain, and a leather belt. Everything hung off him, but Andrew decided to keep the clothes on for a while anyway.

It was now late in the evening, and Andrew was feeling hungry. He didn't feel like cooking, so he went to order a pizza. When he loaded the site up on his phone, he was greeted by an offer... 2 pizzas, 2 sides, and a 2L soda. He decided to order this as he was going to save the leftovers for another day. However, when the pizzas arrived, this plan went out the window. He sat down with the food, eating while watching TV, and as he watched, he made his way through the entirety of his order before falling asleep.
