Pokefeedee - Volume 1: Mega Oran Madness

Chapter 1 - Meeting a former champion

The Verdanturf forest hummed with life, Tailow chirping overhead and soft breezes carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers. Sunlight dappled through the canopy, painting the path in golden patches as Lila, a 16-year-old aspiring Pokémon trainer from Petalburg City, trekked deeper into the woods. Her Torchic strutted beside her, its tiny flames flickering with excitement. Lila’s heart raced, she was on her first real adventure, her Trainer Card still crisp in her pocket, driven by dreams of becoming Hoenn’s Champion. She’d grown up idolizing May, the fierce trainer who’d toppled Team Magma and claimed the Champion title. Rumors of May’s disappearance had only fueled Lila’s curiosity, and now, fate was about to pull her into a strange, indulgent encounter.

As Lila pushed through a curtain of vines, she froze. In a cluttered clearing, beneath a towering Oran Berry tree, sprawled a massive figure, her body a soft, rolling landscape of curves that seemed to meld into the mossy ground. The air thick with the syrupy scent of overripe berries. Lila’s heart thumped as she stood in the cluttered clearing, her Torchic hopping nervously at her feet, its tiny flames flickering. The scene before her was a shocking contrast to the lush greenery, a chaotic mess of berry husks, crumpled Poffin wrappers, and glowing Pokéblock scraps scattered around a massive Oran Berry tree. Beneath it sprawled May, the former Hoenn Champion, her 750-pound body a rolling expanse of soft, jiggling flesh that sank into the mossy ground. Her old contest outfit strained against her bloated belly and thick thighs, the fabric stretched so tight it looked ready to tear. Her greasy brown hair spilled from a loose bandana, and her chubby fingers clutched a half-eaten Mega Oran Berry, its glossy sheen promising forbidden sweetness.

Munchlax, May’s gluttonous Normal-type, waddled nearby, its own massive belly swaying as it gnawed on a juicy Mago Berry. Its round eyes flicked toward Lila’s Torchic, letting out a curious “Munch!”

“Ehh… you look like someone I know,” Lila stammered, her eyes tracing May’s bandana. “Your hairstyle… it reminds me of…”

Lila’s jaw dropped, her idol, the legendary May, was unrecognizable, a ridiculous indulgent creature lost in her own excess.

May squinted lazily, her heavy lids barely lifting as she let out a loud, contented belch. “Someone you know, huh? Who ya thinkin’ of, kid?” Her voice was sluggish, a far cry from the fiery Champion Lila had idolized. She stretched, her rolls shifting, sending a couple of wrappers crunching under her weight.

Lila’s eyes widened. “Oh, you… you remind me of May, the best Champion ever! She’s my idol!” Torchic chirped, puffing out its chest, but then it edged toward a stray berry. “Torchic, no! That’s not yours!”

May’s eyes narrowed, a flicker of surprise crossing her chubby face. She propped herself up on one elbow, her belly jiggling as she fixed Lila with a skeptical look. “Ah, so you’ve heard of me, huh? ‘Best Champion ever’?” She snorted, her expression hardening. “You only know half the story, kid.”

Lila blinked, her heart racing. “Wait… what? You’re… no way! May?!”

May sighed, sinking back into her mossy bed, her rolls spilling over the edges. “Bingo, kid. You’re lookin’ at the former Champion. Emphasis on former.” She patted her swollen midsection, her lips curling into a sarcastic smirk. “Not exactly the picture you had in mind, huh?”

Lila stared, her awe battling her shock. “May?! You’re really her? I watched all your battles! I want to be a Champion like you!”

May let out a raspy chuckle, her chubby face breaking into a bittersweet smile. “Well, ain’t that somethin’? Used to have fans like you crawlin’ outta the woodwork back in my glory days. Kinda ironic, don’t ya think? Here I am, a mess, and you wanna be like this?” She gestured to her massive frame, her hand sinking into the soft curve of her belly.

“Yes, a Pokémon Champion!” Lila said, her voice trembling with excitement. “I chose Torchic, just like you did!”

May’s eyes widened slightly, a glimmer of nostalgia sparking in her hazy gaze. She studied Torchic, her expression softening for a moment. “Torchic, huh? Just like me back in the day. Not a bad pick, girl. But bein’ a Champion ain’t just about your Pokémon. Takes skill, grit, and a whole lotta work.”

Lila fidgeted, her cheeks flushing. “Well… me and Torchic have only been together two days. We’re tryin’ to get our first badge, but… we’ve never fought before, and I couldn’t catch another Pokémon. Maybe you could give us some tips to win?”

May rubbed her lardose chin, her chubby fingers sticky with berry juice. A faint spark of her old competitive spirit flickered, but it was buried under layers of apathy. “Alright, fine. I’ll give ya some pointers, but don’t expect me to get all hyped up. Tell me about your Torchic. What moves does it know? What’s its nature?”

Lila blinked, confused. “Moves? Nature? What are those? It runs fast, uses fire, and scratches stuff.”

May raised an eyebrow, her lips twitching in disbelief. “Jeez, girl, you haven’t checked your Pokémon’s stats? Moves are its attacks. Nature’s how its personality affects its stats. You’ve got a long way to go if you wanna be a Champion.”

Lila’s face fell. “There’s no way to know that stuff! Torchic didn’t tell me anything!”

May sighed, her belly quivering with the effort. “Alright, alright. Trainers use a Pokédex to check their Pokémon’s info. Shows moves, abilities, all that jazz. Show me yours, and I’ll walk ya through it.”

Lila fumbled in her bag, pulling out the sleek red device Professor Birch had given her. She handed it to May, who took it with a grunt, her thick fingers dwarfing the Pokédex. She scanned Torchic, muttering as the screen lit up.

Pokédex Entry: Torchic, Level 5

Description: A feisty, energetic Torchic gifted by Professor Birch. Eager to battle and grow stronger, it reflects its trainer’s ambition. Loyal but stubborn, it sometimes charges into fights without thinking.

Moves:
Ember: A fiery burst to scorch foes.

Scratch: Sharp claws for quick strikes.

Growl: A cute intimidation tactic to weaken enemies.

Quick Attack: A swift dash to hit first.

Nature: Adamant (boosts Attack, lowers Special Attack).

“Not bad, girl,” May said, her voice grudgingly impressed. “Young fella’s got potential. Good moves for a starter, could carry you through early battles. But you gotta learn how to use ‘em right.”

Lila’s eyes sparkled, but then she turned the Pokédex on Munchlax, curiosity getting the better of her. “Can I scan yours? I wanna see what a Champion’s Pokémon is like!” May gave her a sidelong glance, her expression sour, but she shrugged. “Fine, scan the big oaf.”

The Pokédex whirred, its tone almost hesitant as it processed Munchlax’s data. The screen flashed with stats that made Lila’s jaw drop.

Pokédex Entry: Munchlax, Level 10

Description: Munchlax, the Big Eater Pokémon. Weighing nearly 700 pounds, this exceptionally obese specimen has outgrown its initial cuteness. It spends its days eating and sleeping, with little interest in battling or training. Its gluttonous habits mirror its trainer’s, suggesting a lack of discipline.

Moves:
Stockpile: Hoards energy and food, storing power for later.

Swallow: Consumes stored energy to heal, fueling its endless hunger.

Tackle: A weak, clumsy charge, hindered by its bulk.

Metronome: A random move, reflecting its chaotic, untrained nature.

Nature: Gluttony (enhances its eating habits, no combat benefit).

Stats: Attack and Speed far below average, with abnormally high HP due to its sheer size. Its potential to evolve into Snorlax is stalled by its poor training regimen.

Lila gaped at the screen. “The Pokédex… it’s not kind to him. His stats are near worse than Torchic’s!” She glanced at Munchlax, who was waddling back with a massive, glistening Mega Oran Berry, its juice already staining its fur. “Is this really the same Munchlax you had as a Champion?”

May sighed, her eyes avoiding Lila’s as she rubbed her swollen belly, the motion sending ripples across her plush frame. “Yeah, that’s him. Used to be a scrawny little thing, always eatin’ but quick on his feet. Now look at him.” She gestured to Munchlax, who plopped the berry in her lap, its unnatural size matching her own excess. “I fed him Poffins and berries for months, same as me. Guess we both got… carried away.”

Munchlax let out a satisfied grunt, nudging the berry closer to May. She picked it up, her fingers sinking into its soft flesh, and took a slow, indulgent bite. Juice dribbled down her chin, pooling on her chest as she sighed, her eyes half-closed in pleasure. “Mmm… these Mega Orans are the best. Wanna try one, kid? Might give you and Torchic some… inspiration.”

Lila hesitated, her dream of becoming a Champion clashing with the strange pull of May’s attitude. The sight of her idol, sprawled out like a gluttonous queen, her massive body trembling with each bite, was oddly mesmerizing. Munchlax’s round, wobbling form seemed to see May as its Snorlax mommy, piling food in front of her like offerings to a deity. Would Lila take a bite, stepping closer to May’s indulgent haze? Or would she push for real training tips, hoping to spark the Champion’s old fire?
