The ride of a lifetime

Chapter 17 - light at the end of the tunnel

Stepping onto the train six weeks later, the quietness of the carriage surprised both Logan and Danielle. They had their pick of seats on this later train, now that the commuters had all gone.

“I can’t believe this is the last time we’re doing this,” Danielle sighed sadly. She looked at her watch, with a grim expression on her face.

“This time tomorrow you’re going to be on your way to Dallas!”

Logan felt the bottomless pit of sadness in his stomach as well. Two years living in the UK were finally coming to an end. “You know I had to take the job. It was too good to refuse.”

“I know, I know,” Danielle nodded. “It’ll be a great fresh start,” she acknowledged quietly.

The two commuters sat down, spotting only one other person on the entire carriage, a good distance away and wearing headphones. “It’s like the Twilight Zone in here!” Logan smiled, taking the window seat and squeezing up so that there was plenty of room for Danielle’s broad, over-inflated backside. “Dallas is going to be great, you know,” he smiled excitedly. “There are so many opportunities there… for both of us.”

Danielle nodded, clearly trying to hide the nerves that she felt. She had never worked outside of London before, and now she was moving halfway around the world to be with her brand new lover.

“You don’t regret taking that transfer, do you?” Logan asked, a little worried at the look of sadness on Danielle’s chubby face.

“No,” Danielle replied immediately. “I don’t regret anything. For the first time in my life, I know exactly what I want. One hundred percent,” she smiled, placing her warm hand onto Logan’s chunky thigh and stroking it lovingly.

“And, you know there will be fantastic opportunities to indulge out there as well,” Logan grinned, finally having the privacy to be able to lovingly touch his girlfriend’s full gut. It still blew his mind that he could do this now; caress Danielle and appreciate just how large and heavy she had grown.

Danielle smiled proudly and even pushed out her stomach a little more so that it strained the buttons of her blouse. “Oh yeah?” she asked playfully, having heard it all before, multiple times, and getting no less excited on each occasion.

“Oh, definitely!” Logan smirked, sliding his hand into the belly crease that Danielle always got these days when she sat down. “You won’t believe how easy it is for a woman to put on a few pounds in the states; with all those giant portions and infinite number of take-out joints…” he smiled wickedly. “Why, I think that a chubby 260lbs businesswoman, moving across from London, could easily find herself getting very fat indeed.” He grabbed a handful of jiggly fat and shook it gently in just the way that Danielle liked. “280lbs… 300… 350…”

Danielle’s face lit up, as it always did when Logan talked about their future. She looked over her shoulder to check, once again, that there was no one else coming onto the carriage who could overhear. Then she reached a hand across and placed it on Logan’s small, sprouting belly, rubbing it lovingly with her thumb. “And what about this little businessman?” she asked playfully. “What’s going to happen to him?”

“Well, this guy here,” Logan smiled, moving his arms away so that Danielle could rub the new belly better. “This guy, has a two week head-start before you arrive. So, I think you may see a bit of a difference in that time.” Then, he too pushed out his stomach as far as it would go and smiled proudly at his adoring girlfriend filling the seat next to him.

Danielle squeaked in excitement and she brought her other hand over to properly examine Logan’s stomach. “Texas-sized!” she marvelled.

“Texas-sized!” Logan repeated with an excited smirk.

“Oh, I love you so much…” Danielle whispered, bringing her head towards Logan’s and kissing him sweetly. “I can’t wait for this. Honestly, I can’t!”

“I know you can’t!” Logan grinned, kissing Danielle back. “This is it now,” he smiled as the train started to move out of the station. He heard the engines roar into life and felt the vibrations within the carriage. “So long London!” he waved, taking Danielle’s hand and speeding towards a new future.

This is one of my favorite stories on the site. It stops at a good place but I really want an epilogue that offers an even sexier finish to things.

Thank you. It's been a while since I wrote this and it still upsets me that no one noticed all my train pun chapter headings. They took so long to think up as well!

By far my favorite of your stories, excellent plot, characters, everything. Hope the guy let all his guards down and stays, would just flatten the story completely, or he asks her to go with him, either one would work.

So so Good I have a little tension though just like Collette and Eric. The guy needs to grow a set and tell her how he really feels. It's not a criticism. Both stories are among my favorites.
