Logan shrugged, a little embarrassed. “Don’t worry about it,” he smiled, his stomach filling with butterflies that this lady was actually talking to him. Standing next to her, he suddenly realised how much taller this girl was than he had thought; only about 5 inches shorter than himself; probably about 5’6. He marvelled looking down at her, even more impressed with how chubby the girl had grown in the short time that he had known her.
“I’m Danielle by the way,” she smiled, holding out her hand to shake. “You’re from America?” she stated, noticing the accent and deciding to use it as a talking point, as most people tended to do it seemed. “Which part are you from?”
Logan happily explained himself, feeling his surprising nerves start to disappear as the conversation flowed easily. “How come you’re here at this station?” he asked at last. “I’m sure I’ve seen you get on a few stops down the line? Woking or something?” he questioned, pretending not to know.
“Yes…” Danielle answered, pushing her hand through her delicious, long, brown hair. “My husband and I…” she nodded, not wanting to go into the divorce, “…I had to get a place of my own. It’s only added an extra twenty minutes or so to the commute into London, so I can’t complain.”
“Well, welcome to your new station,” Logan smiled, lifting his coffee cup and tapping Danielle’s as if declaring a toast, making the sexy woman chuckle.
Logan wondered whether Danielle’s increasing weight had anything to do with the reason why she was getting divorced. Even back in her thicker jacket, it was clear that the weight was still continuing to pour onto her, bloating up her tummy and puffing up her butt and thighs. He saw it up close as the two new friends sat down together, chatting on the carriage; Danielle unbuttoning the concealing coat as the heat of the carriage became too much for her now overweight body. He'd learned so much about Danielle that day, but had deliberately steered clear of anything to do with her relationship.
So, she’s in the middle of a very acrimonious divorce, Logan sighed dejectedly, as he sat there, listening to the beautiful girl speaking to him. He chuckled, realising that, even now, Danielle was still off-limits. How many months would it be until she was even ready to date again? And, once more, the clock was ticking down on his time here in the UK. He laughed, thinking about how disappointed he felt; realising that he had started to fantasise about marrying Danielle and watching her slowly blubber up more and more over the years. He smiled playfully as he grumbled within his own head; why was nothing that straight-forward?
