A recent trade school graduate, ready to start his life in the family business. A calamity spread over the land, forcing an economic collapse and mass disruption. Our protagonist Carver O. Fowl made his way to the sunny south after his family abandoned him. He took work wherever he could, his skill with his hands only outweighed by his voracious appetite. After some dealings with less than a reputable real estate owner, Carver ran for his life, accidentally falling asleep on a cruise liner.

He became a stowaway, blending in with the ship's wealthy passengers enough to survive. His appetite got him noticed though, by the captain, Abram, and his crew of fat admirers. A trap is laid, and after Carver stuffs himself silly in front of everyone he is taken prisoner. Carver expects to be jailed or worse, killed, but to his surprise the captain has something far different in store for him. Captain Abram informs Carver he prefers men, just as Carver does, and loves fattening them up. Abram does just that, using his crew, as well as powerful appetite stimulants to double Carver in size from a thin one hundred and fifty pounds to a hefty three hundred.

Caver is conflicted. He still maintains the hope of escape, yet is intoxicated by the man forcing him to get fat. Anger still courses through him for what Abram has done, but none of it proves to matter. After a wild island party to mark the end of their current cruise tour, Abram and Carver take too much time getting back to the ship. The crew cleaned up and left without them!

A last minute fling on a private beach now leaves them stranded. Now without a phone and out of walkie talkie range, the two lovers are left on an island with a native population less than hospitable to foreign influence. Abram told Carver he checked with the natives before each of his parties here, but how do they really feel about it? What will happen to these two conflicted lovers? Will Carver lose any weight?
