Chapter 1 - Xavier's Promotion & The Start of Things

I first met Xavier online, he was sweet and we quickly hit it off. We dated for a couple of months before we officially became boyfriends. I was the dominant one in the relationship and could easily overpower Xavier despite him being taller than me. He was thin and lanky while I was well built and that was just how our relationship was until, 5 years into our relationship, Xavier got promoted; I had previously been the main earner, but with his promotion that became Xavier.

The extra money was great, even though I previously earned the most that didn't mean I earned a lot, in fact, his new salary was enough to cover all our expenses and still fit my salary in it, that's where the idea that I quit and stay home came from. I was hesitant when Xavier first presented this idea but over a month period new more convincing points arose and by the time October was coming to an end reasons as to why I should stay home came to me all the time.

A few of the reasons Xavier wanted me to quit were:
• We rarely got to spend time together as our schedules don't align
• We don't need the extra money
• It would be nice if he didn't have to return to an empty house
• The cleaning wouldn't pile up as it has been doing as there'd always be someone available to do it.

These reasons and more all led me to quit my job, I told myself then that nothing was changing in our dynamic and as time went on it didn't feel as though anything had but, but little did I know then where I'd be today...

The promotion came with a number of other benefits besides his augmented salary, his company promoted a healthy lifestyle for its executives hence, they provided Xavier with a personal trainer three times a week, he never showed any interest in going to the gym but he figured it'd be a waste to not use it, I suggested that I could use it if he wasn't interested but he told me it was non-transferable; I had been meaning to look for a new gym, my old one being free with my old job but I had kept putting it off and not too long after Xavier started having secions with his coach did I forget about the issue entirely.

One of the reasons I quit was to spend more time with Xavier and we definitely were thanks to his new flexible schedule that included the ability to work-from-home. It was nice...
