Societal Evolution

Chapter 1 the stage is set

The stage was set in the 20th and 21st centuries. The advent of capitalism, fast food, woman's rights, and the advances in conveniences and technology, not to mention the rise of social that would follow. In just a few short years a woman in the 1950s worried about her figure in ways her mother never in the 1930s, struggling through the great depression never would have. By the 70s and 80s there was a McDonald's on every corner in America and obesity was a rising epidemic. In the 90s through talk shows like Jerry springer and reality TV, an anything goes mentality became pervasive throughout the culture. And in addition to all of this the sexual revolution and woman's lib movements in the 60s and 70s had empowered women to take control ofown their own sexuality and become masters of their own destinies.

By the beginning of the 21st century stigmas previously attached to sexual kinks and alternative lifestyles were waning, fueled no doubt by the increasing popularity of social media. Soon thick was in. Daddy's prim and proper, slim little angel went off to college and learned to indulge in pizza, beer, living on greasy carbs and junk food, quickly filling out much to the delight of every boy on campus until returning home to mommy and daddy a plump curvaceous little devil, who's appetites for food, fun, pleasure and sex were awakened never to be extinguished again.

After college would come marriage, sedentary careers, suburbia and babies until midway through the 21st century 200 and 300 pound woman were considered as sexy and desirable as their slimmer counterparts, if not even more so.

From there it was all unimpeded escalation until bigger was sexy and the ultimate status symbol was to marry thick and watch her grow. Docile, thoroughly domesticated Morbidly obese wives were put on display like a queen/sex symbol. They owned their desire, their sexuality and their destinies. This is a story of a future. Some might say heaven forbid, some may say bring it on. Either way the stage has been set. And now we go into the future to catch a glimpse of what is to come and we will do that through the telling of the story of a girl named Zara.
