Chapter 6 - warning

For such a handsome guy who would never have struggled to get a date, Max was surprisingly skilled at pleasuring a girl: his fingers, his tongue; he was not even ashamed to whip out a vibrator for Meg. It was routine; every evening between Meg's main meal and dessert, Max started to slip down between her legs, warming her up for later. He didn't even expect anything in return. He was like her very own puppy dog; desperate to please! The love potion had been the greatest thing in Meg's life; her sexy hunk could simply not get enough of her and she grinned smugly, thinking how much better her sex life was compared to everyone else she knew.

"That's a nice outfit!" Meg's colleague noted, looking at the fine material.

"Thanks, my boyfriend got it for me," Meg boasted, feeling great in it.

"This boyfriend of yours seems too good to be true!" she smiled. "I haven't seen you wear anything he hasn't bought you in months."

"I know," Meg smiled happily. Max just loved to treat her with things and he had a simply perfect instinct about which clothes she would like. There was hardly a single thing left of her old clothes in her closet since Max had moved in. They had had to do a massive clear-out to make way for all of Max's stuff.

"Don't you think that's a little strange?" Meg's colleague puzzled, seeming to look Meg up and down.

Meg flinched at the strange question. "No. Why?" she asked. She wasn't about to confess that she had given Max a love potion to make him so besotted with her.

"Well, it just seems like you've changed a lot since you've been with him. What's it been, a year now?"

Meg nodded. "Yes! Max is taking me on a mystery holiday to celebrate!" she explained, never missing the opportunity to boast. "He's been cooking me special food as clues for where we're going all week. I still can't figure it out!" she laughed.

"That's nice," the lady smiled simply. "Just maybe... check that he's doing these things for the right reasons," she cautioned, walking away.

'What on earth was that supposed to mean?' Meg wondered as she sat back at her desk, ripping open her lunchbox to nibble on the pastries Max had put inside. What could possibly be seen as wrong about Max's powerful love for her?
