Chapter 2 - excuses

A few days later, Adam strolled into a restaurant where Holly was sat waiting for him. Now that the thrill of seeing his gorgeous ex-girlfriend again, had worn off, he really had thought twice about coming here tonight. Over the last four years, he’d been going for women who had really done it for him: large, greedy, fat-bellied girls who could hardly contain their appetites. Now, Holly had it all: the looks, the personality, the sweetness, but Adam was kidding himself if he thought he could have a relationship with a girl who didn’t like to overindulge and expand her waistline a bit; he just wasn’t wired that way. And, if Adam was really honest, the waitress’s hot belly and wide rear were proving to be a bit of a distraction as he sat there at the table with Holly, chatting about old times.

But Holly knew how to hold a conversation and she still remembered how to make him laugh. Maybe that was why they rolled into bed together that night, and even arranged to meet up again.

Dating girls like Holly came with a certain amount of guilt for Adam. He was sure that there were millions of guys out there who would appreciate that toned six-pack, but he really wasn’t one of them; he never had been. Thinking back, he remembered how he had tried to deliberately push Holly to cheat her strict high-protein, low-fat diet back when they were dating. It had started to work as well, he thought back, turning himself on at the memory of how Holly’s six-pack had begun to melt a little. But then Holly had finished with him, and that was that.

“You dated some pretty interesting girls after we broke up,” Holly noted, as they both sat down at another restaurant together on their third date.

Adam nodded, remembering how Holly had told him that she’d kept up with his activities through checking him out on social media. “Yeah,” he agreed. “I’ve certainly had my fair share of fun. As I’m sure you have?”

“Yes,” Holly smiled, “I guess I have. But you were by far the kinkiest of the guys I’ve ever dated,” she grinned wickedly. “Maybe that’s why I could never get you out of my head!”

Adam laughed at that. He’d always pushed the boundaries a bit and wasn’t afraid to boss even a girl like Holly around in the bedroom. “Why did you ever let me go then?” he asked, with a wicked grin on his face. He could tell that they were both getting aroused. Adam himself was more than up for it after seeing how much Holly had packed away tonight. He had forgotten how much of a great appetite the girl had. Those athletic muscles needed feeding somehow, he guessed.

Holly shrugged a little at the question. “It was my mom, I suppose,” she replied. “She thought you were bad for me. She saw how much of a distraction you were when I was supposed to be focusing on my career.” She looked at Adam with a smile, letting him know how ridiculous she now thought these excuses were. “She told me that if I stuck with you, I’d end up as some fat, bored ex-athlete who wouldn’t have a hope in hell of a tennis career.”

Adam nodded, feeling strangely excited at the analysis. “Your mom may have had a point,” he laughed, pretending that he was making a joke.

“Shall we go back to my place?” Holly asked, suddenly keen to get out of there and into the bedroom.

Adam grinned as he felt Holly’s hand slip onto his thigh, under the table, showing off how aroused she was. “We’ll get there,” Adam smiled wickedly, enjoying keeping Holly waiting. “But we’re not going anywhere until after dessert.”
