For some reason I felt jealous of Aunty dee, how is it she could eat so much so quickly without any judgement, yet I can barley have a plateful without being judged! I wanted more and the only way I could do that is if no one was watching, so I waited, I waited until uncle Gary had cleared up the food and placed the leftovers in fridge, that’s when I made my move, I snuck off to the kitchen whilst everyone was still in the garden, I quickly demolished 4 chicken drumsticks and another burger before I was caught.


‘Well well well what do we have here?’ It was Dee standing behind me with her arms crossed


‘I...i can explain’ I say worried at what dee might think of me


‘No need to explain Emily, I came here to do the exact same! Now hand me that plate of chicken!’


Me and Aunty Dee managed to finish the entire leftovers


‘Bloody hell Emily! I think I’ve finally found someone as greedy as me!’ Dee huffs rubbing her swollen belly ‘and to think you’re only what 130 pound?’ She follows up


‘120 last time I checked’ I inform her


‘Imagine how much you could eat at my size! You’d be insatiable!’ Dee laughs casually


‘Insatiable?’ I ask


‘Yeah you know, impossible to satisfy’ Dee laughs


‘What are you to doing in here?’ My mother asks walking into the dining room


‘Oh just chilling don’t worry!’ Dee quickly pipes up


‘I worry about Emily around you, I don’t want her picking up your bad habits!’ My mother grunts


‘What bad habits?’ Dee huffs


‘Your eating habits!’


‘Oh relax Maria! So what if you daughter likes her food! You do as well!’ Dee chuckled never seeming unhappy


‘Exactly I don’t want her to end up like us, she’s so petite she just needs to keep on top of it’ my mother whined


‘Mom I’m fine! Stop worrying!’


‘I’ll always worry about you Emily’
