chapter 2: years 2 and 3

Year 2 continued:
With her sports, it slowly became more apparent that her stamina and fitness levels were suffering, as she wasn’t putting in the work. The coach and her teammates started noticing, and she was put on bench duty a lot more during the second year. At first she didn’t pay too much attention to this fact, as she dismissed it with a ‘I just have to exercise a bit more and then I’m good to go again’.

However, she wasn’t cutting down on her eating, but rather increasing it, with my encouragement as well. You see, I wasn’t actively pushing her to eat (yet), but I was providing her with all that she wanted and more. Very often I’d buy her snacks and drinks she didn’t ask for and if she did ask for it, I’d bring twice the amount. Which she gladly ate eventually. I didn't mind if she didn't eat them immediately, however they were almost always finished at the end of the day.

After the second year she had gained maybe another 20-25 pounds, putting her around 270 pounds. Of course she was fat, but also tall and still carried a fair bit of muscle as well, so it wasn’t as obvious as one might expect. But it did start impacting her playing volleyball a lot more at the end. This caused her to start skipping practice more often and also be less excited about the actual games, as she was benched even more often.

So over the summer of the end of the second year, her coach gave her a gym membership and a set of exercises she could do at home over the summer break, to get her back into shape. That way, he said, she could improve at home and have a fair chance again after the summer. This summer break lasted around 3,5 months, from May until the end of August.

Obviously, in that summer period I kept buying her more and more snacks and tried to propose passive activities to do when she thought about starting her exercising schedule her coach gave her. That summer, instead of losing weight and getting fit, she lost muscle and gained close to 10 pounds, putting her at a hefty 280 pounds.

Her lower belly roll and her arms seemed to take most of the damage, growing fast and even putting stretchmarks on the inside of her arms. Her gut started sagging forward more than her breasts, which hadn’t taken much of the weight. Her face also gained a considerable amount, giving her a quite prominent double chin at most angles and also puffing out her cheeks a bit. Her legs and ass also grew, gathering more cellulite as some muscle was lost due to the lack of exercise.

Year 3: Beginning:
At the start of year 3 the most important thing happened. She went back to her volleyball team after summer and needless to say, her coach wasn’t pleased. She was still officially in the team, but playing was getting less fun for her as well, seeing as she’d get out of breath after less than 10 minutes of playing. This also meant she was benched almost permanently during games, reducing the fun even more. After a few weeks, I suggested she quit, seeing as it wasn’t making her happy and she could try out for another team later, if she wanted. Of course, I knew that last part was most likely not going to happen, but I omitted that part to her. She agreed to quit, seeing as she was skipping most practice already. So there it happened, that at the beginning of the third year of our relationship, she stopped exercising and got a lot lazier from then on.
