Chapter 1 - The bus to granny’s.

Maddie is a 16 year old junior in high school. She’s always been slim thick but after her mom died and her dad abandoned her she really plumped up.

Maddie got her stuff ready and hopped on the next bus to Cove; where her granny lives and runs a small bakery. Ever since she was left to the system, she had gotten quite fat. Before she was just a little chunky but now at 250lbs she was already struggling to sit in the small bus seats. She just barely fit but there was absolutely no way she was buckling the seat belt.
Maddie: GOD DAMMIT, why won’t this buckle. Huh?!

Bus attendant: Uh miss if you’re having trouble you don’t have to buckle it.

Maddie: oh ok.

Maddie pulls out a party size bag of cookies and starts to stuff herself.

Maddie: *hmph* theshes are so good. I haven’t eaten all day.

That was a lie. Before she left she went to ihop and ate 2 stacks of chocolate pancakes and a biscuit with 4 glasses of chocolate milk. Obviously she has a sweet tooth.

During the bus ride she met Jay. He was a few months older than her and about the same weight. He was returning to Cove after spending a week with his cousins.

Jay: Hey there do you mind if I get a few of those cookies? I’m absolutely starving.

Maddie: hmm? Oh yeah sure help yourself.

Jay takes an entire row cause he hadn’t eaten since yesterday.

Maddie: I’m Maddie BTW. What’s your name.

Jay: hey I’m Jay. So where you headed. I know this bus is headed to Cove but we should hit a few stops before then?

Maddie: I’m headed to Cove to live with my grandma. Wbu?

Jay: I’m headed to Cove as well. I live there with my mom and cousin.
Are you going to school?

Maddie: yeah I just transferred to Cove High.

Jay: really? That’s where I go too. What grade are you in? I’m a Junior.

Maddie: I’m a junior too. It’s good to meet you. I hope we can be friends.

Jay: aren’t we already? That may sound creepy but I just met and I feel like I’ve known you forever.

Maddie: thanks for that. I guess we are friends.

For the rest of the ride the 2 friends talk watch a movie and eventually fall asleep. The bus arrives at the station at 12:30am.

Bus driver: alright everyone, we’re here. Time to get up and get off. If you’re in these areas on the bus, please get up and get off to collect your things. Station A, get off and collect your bags first.

As the bus driver is explaining Maddie and Jay start to wake up.

Maddie: Well that’s was a good nap.

Jay: sure was

The bus driver makes it to them. Maddie and Jay are the last area.

Area D please get up one at a time and make your way to the exit to collect your things. Jay who got the aisle seat gets up with ease. Maddie on the other hand got the window and struggles her as out.

Maddie and Jay inevitably move their way to the exit and depart the bus. Maddie and Jay go their separate and promise to meet at the school on Monday.

Granny: well hello dear did you have a nice ride.

Maddie: yes granny. I’m actually still a little tired. Can I go up and get some rest please.

Granny: sure dear. Also I left a little food in your room since I know you haven’t eaten yet.

Maddie: thanks your the best.

Maddie and granny hug.
Maddie heads up to find that her bed is made and that granny may have overdone it with the little. Granny had always used gigantic portions, but this was way too much for Maddie. Maddie didn’t want to upset granny though, so she ate until there was nothing.
The plate on her bed had an entire 10ounce steak, fries, some dinner rolls and cornbread and finally a nice big slice of red velvet cake. Also there was a mini fridge stocked with all of Maddie’s favorite drinks on her desk.

When Maddie was done, she could barely move and was completely bloated. She decided that a nice shower should help. What waited for her was something else.

Maddie got undressed and hit the shower. When she got out she grabbed her robe and realized she was way too big for it.

Maddie: WHAT THE HELL!!! Why can’t I tie this knot. Ugh. God I’ve gotten big.

Maddie decided to just get ready for bed and sleep off the food.
