Chapter 1
PrologueA princess sighed looking from the ledge of her room in the huge temple. She gazed looking down at her city that glowed with the sunset, orange-colored skies above shining down. The girl was lost in thought about what her mother told her today. She wondered if she was ready for such a big step in her life one day, or if she was worthy.
The girl had white long hair cascading down her back with pointy ears peeking out. The tall 5ft 10 in elf was wearing a regal grey dress in heels. Her breasts were a modest B cup along with a decent flare of her hips. She always had a larger butt than she would have liked, but she had learned to be grateful for her appearance. The goddess always blessed everyone in her image. The elf heard someone walk into her room as she turned around. Another white-haired elf woman looking more mature than her came onto the balcony. It was the queen of the kingdom Sella. She comforted the young elf rubbing her back putting the girl at ease.
"Hey, Elara. You doing ok after today. You haven't left your room for hours. Are you nervous after my announcement? Sorry, if it was sudden," Sella smiled.
"It's ok, mother. I'm just processing all this. I just have to ask. Why do you want me to be queen?" Elara wondered.
"Because I think your worthy," Sella grinned.
"You know sister is more worthy than I am. She's always wanted to succeed you anyway. She's older, stronger, and has more charisma than me. No offense mother, but I think you made a mistake in choosing me," Elara sighed.
"Well, your sister is a bit up there with her ego, while your more grounded. Velena might be stronger, but your strategy is unmatched on the battlefield. Strength isn't the only thing you need to be a leader you know. And yeah, maybe you're a bit awkward but I know you'll grow into the role later on with experience. I was weird when I was younger as well," Sella stated rubbing Elara's head making her smirk.
"Thanks. That makes me feel a bit better." Elara smiled.
"Good, besides. It's going to be a while till your queen. I still have a lot of life in me even without your father around to help me anymore. Goddess rest his soul. Anyway, you really need to give yourself more credit," Sella stated.
"Your right as usual."
"Alright my cute angel, now come down for dinner. The maids made your favorite baked potatoes with beef," Sella grinned with Elara licking her lips at the mention of potatoes.
Elara always admired her mother. She always had a way to make her feel at ease, but she still had some doubt. But maybe some time would help bring some clarity in her mind. Soon they came downstairs to see Valena sitting at the table already looking lost in thought. Valena was the same height as Elara, but she was a couple years older. She had long red locks, being the same color as her father. The blue dress highlighted her shapely figure with D cup breasts and a supple butt. She was so beautiful and was very proud of her goddess looks. Valena crossed her supple soft legs with heels on her feet looking up to smile at the arrival of her mother and sister.
"Hey there future queen. I've saved a seat for you, your highness," Valena smirked patting the seat next to her.
"Don't call me that please. I'm too awkward to be called that," Elara sighed.
"Well, you should get used to it cause in a couple of years thats what everyone will call you, your majesty," Valena smiled.
"I know how much you wanted to be queen. Are you ok with me...well?" Elara sighed.
"Yeah, mother actually told me weeks before she made the announcement. Not to worry. In fact, I agree with her," Valena stated.
"Really, well I'm glad there's no hard feelings," Elara smiled.
"Nah, I did always want to be queen, but I guess it wasn't meant to be in the eyes of the goddess. Oh well. Anyway, let's eat," Valena smiled.
Elara was so relieved her sister was taking it so well. Then she beamed seeing a baked potato with cheese put in front of her with braised beef covered in gravy. She drooled at the smell alone at her favorite dish as her ears perked up. The princess dug into the first bite with the fluffy texture hitting her lips making her moan a bit smiling. It didn't take long for her to finish her dish, belching. Soon she was asking for a second potato, feeling ravenous tonight for some reason. The elf looked down, wondering why she felt so heavy. Elara saw her belly was a tad bloated as she sighed rubbing it.
"Careful sister. Eat too many potatoes and you'll start looking like one. They'll call you the potato queen," Valena giggled poking her sister's belly.
"Yeah, burp. I usually watch how many carbs I eat, but I felt like letting go a bit tonight," Elara blushed.
"Oh, lay off your sister. I'm the one that needs to hold back," Sella blushed lifting her robe up to reveal a starter belly.
"Heh, guess your age is catching up with you mother. Look, it's your future Elara." Valena smirked.
"Burp, oh dear," Elara blushed rubbing her belly.
"Your still young Elara so don't worry about it. If you want to let go every once in a while, so be it. Tonight, we celebrate our future queen," Sella grinned patting her daughter's head as Elara smiled.

Lat er Elara went to lay in a chair on the balcony resting her stuffed potato and meat filled tummy. She smiled feeling a lot better than she did earlier. After being with her family and having a full belly, the world had more clarity in her eyes. After not too long Elara began to doze off feeling at peace.
Soon she awoke from her nap sighing at how lazy she was to be sleeping right before bedtime already. She rose up with her belly feeling less heavy now as she then heard horns sounding off. She knew what the horns meant as her heart dropped. An enemy attack. She looked down from her balcony, to see the cause for concern. Then the moonlight disappeared all of a sudden wondering why it had turned so dark. The elf princess looked up gasping. A huge flying creature was flying over the temple at a steady speed. Getting a better look, the monster was a dragon with 3 heads attached to long necks. The beast was looking almost twice the size of the temple alone.
The creature was dark in color with huge wings that almost stretched across the sky. The dragon had a pair of purple eyes on each of its heads. The middle head showed some holes in its scales revealing bones on the creature's neck and face. This made Elara believe it could have been undead. The horns on its heads with its snarling teeth made the princess stunned in fear just by looking at this demon's gaze. Behind the dragon was a long tail that swung around stretching far like the creature's wings. It had short stubby arms and decently sized legs, making this monster seem unnatural.
Elara saw huge explosion spells had begun to hit the creature. She noticed mages in the army forming to combat the monster. The elf girl also saw slingshots firing huge explosives at the creature as well. All this didn't seem to do anything as the dragon seemed unfazed. Elara unfroze herself seeing the citizens evacuating to the shelters. The dragon landed in the middle of the city destroying some houses standing so much higher than the rest of the cities structure. Then the creature let out one of the most blood curdling roars Elara had ever heard come out of a monster.
The dragon had fire coming out of its closed mouths as it growled. Then the monster began blowing black flames at the army's mages. Elara began to hear screams as she ran to her mother feeling like this was a nightmare, but it was all too real. She saw the black flames spread all over the city as the dragon continued its destruction. A million questions went through her head. Why was this monster here? Where did it come from? Are we going to live? But she knew she needed to regroup with her family. Elara would usually come up with a plan, but she was so scared she had no ideas on what to do.
She ran like crazy until she came to the throne room with Valena and her mother there. She ran to both of them opening her arms hugging them feeling so much relief for a moment.
"Thank the goddess your safe," Sella smiled.
"Mother, what's going on? What is, huh that thing? It's a demon, huh walking on this earth," Elara panted from her running.
"Don't worry, we need to fight it. But if we can't beat it, then will just evacuate the city and rebuild," Sella stated.
"But years of history will be lost," Valena frowned looking just as scared as her sister.
"The elves lives matter more than history in this case. It's fine. The city is its people after all," Sella explained.
Then Elara saw her mother looking concerned. The elf queen blasted a beam of light near her chair as it hit the walls.
"You should know, ease dropping is quite rude," Sella sneered.
At first Elara didn't know what her mother was talking about. Then she saw a lady appear from behind the chair smirking. Elara's heart sank as this lady looked like bad news from just her demeanor. From Elara's guess she was a human witch from her attire. Under the woman's black slit dress where her stocking covered thick legs with heels on her feet. This was something Elara saw many witches wear over the years from her experience in battle. The woman's black hair framed her face as she gave a sinister creepy smile that made the princess skip a breath in fear. There was something very unsettling about this witch. The fact she was here sneaking around during this attack was enough to think she was up to something. Then the lady brought out her scepter confirming her suspicions.
"Sorry, how rude of me. My name is Adela. Pleasure to meet you Sella, queen of the elves. Though I think tonight is your last night as queen I'm afraid."
