Part One - The Move

Seth grabbed the last of his stuff and placed it in his suitcase. Closing the suitcase was a struggle. His small yet, muscular frame made it very hard for him to close his suitcase.

He ended up getting his roommate Michael to help him close it.

Seth has always had a small slender frame, His tall 2.01m tall frame supported by 76.3kgs. Although he has muscles they’re not much. But never stopped him from getting looks in his direction.
Throughout his time at the New England’s much prestigious university. De Bauhn University. He spent his time at the gym to see his fellow sporty friends, studying or partying with his 3 roommates. However, this was all ending.
Seth and Michael just graduated, Seth with a Master’s in Marketing and Michael with a Master’s in Osteopathy (the study of bones).

Michael Seth’s closest but, still distant roommate out of the three asks Seth. “So where are you staying when you move to in New York?”
Seth responds “Brooklyn. With my cool uncle.”
Michael replies “That’s the one who’s an auto mechanic right or the car designer?”
I reply “Mechanic.”

He replies “Cool!”
I grab the last of my stuff and make my way to the airport. From De Bauhn University in New England with the most prestigious degree from the most prestigious university making my way to Brooklyn to work in my dream job with THE dream company.

I land in JFK and grab my luggage and see him. Uncle Andrew.
He is a tall guy with black hair and a chiselled face. His shirt has some motor oil but, most of his clothes do after running a mechanic for 10 years. He imminently gave me a hug and I hugged back.

In his deep voice states “My favourite nephew.” Seth every time responding, “Your only nephew.” He replies, “I have one sibling your dad, and the man has only one son. You.” Placing his slender finger on his nephew’s nose.
The two go to his car which is an opulent and luxurious car that doesn’t match the man’s look but clearly matches his wallet and career.

The two go to Andrew’s home. In the heart of Brooklyn and it is a modern home with a large amount of space for cars. Which is reasonable considering Andy’s Career and business.
The two enter and make their way to Seth’s bedroom. One of 2 guest bedrooms in the modern 4-bedroom home.
He takes Seth to Seth’s new room and responds “This is where you’d sleep dude. It’s a large room”. He continues back to another adjoining room “a desk and minifridge. Two staples of a study” The man gestures at the fridge and the large desk and large ergonomic mesh and leather desk chair.
“Thanks Uncle Andrew. I’ll be here as long as you want or need me.”
“Kiddo, I’ll kick you out when you become annoying or when I become annoying. Hopefully that never happens.”
Seth responds, “Ok Uncle Andy.”
The two hug and Andy leaves so Seth can unpack.

6 days go by
Uncle Andy and Seth have been going great together.

TEXT MESSAGE from Andrew to Seth [I’m having a couple of beers wanna join me?]
TEXT MESSAGE from Seth [Coming down]

Seth comes down the stairs to see Andy with a few beers and snacks.
Andy responds, “So how was work?” Seth responds while cracking a beer “It’s ok, all great and nice people.”
Andy responds “You’ll get annoyed with them. Just have a channel for that annoyance”
 


















Part Two - Mistakes

1 week goes by
Uncle Andy and Seth are more interconnected than ever. The two spend almost all nights have a couple of beers and snacks. On the large and long custom-made corner couch, with 2 electric recliners, that’s next to 4 cup holders in each and a pair of small fridges. All within reach of the recliner seats that the two men borderline abuse with their sedentary behaviour.

But recently they’ve been getting a lot of takeout and fast food. Due to their busy schedules.
Seth having finished his Orientation and Andy working on a competitive car with a big new client.
Seth looks at Andy before his way to work and asks, “New Shirt?” due to the lack of oil stains or rips or fading and Andy responds “Yeah, wanted to impress the client and their driver. So, I am not letting this one gets near the shop.”
What Seth didn’t know Andrew also gained weight to the point of going up a shirt size.

8 days go by
Seth looks at his suit pants. Muttering “These have been so annoying.” He adds “I don’t know if it’s my body’s rejection of work or how I washed these last night.”

12 days go by
TEXT MESSAGE from Seth to Andrew [Wanna just spend the weekend doing nothing? I am tired as and I know a few good movies to watch.]
TEXT MESSAGE from Andrew [Yeah! I could leave early]

The later that day (Friday Night)
Seth walks in the house. He goes to the kitchen and sees an insane amount of food and drinks and a tall Andrew behind it.
He responds, “I went overboard.” He gestures at the kitchen island and bench filled with food.

Bit by bit they eat the food, drink the drinks.
Snacks, Meals, Beer, Shots, Soft Drinks, Desserts, Sweets and all in-between.
Andy looks down at his stomach which is now protruding out. He rubs it and remarks “Uncle Andy is not doing the shopping from now on kiddo.” Seth replies while rubbing his own distended stomach “I am fine to do it at this point.”

The two wakes up from the couch. Seeing their damage.
Both cleaning up their mess. Seth looks at Andy’s stomach which looks like it hasn’t fully gone down like Seth’s.
Maybe he ate more, or his younger body processed it faster? He doesn’t think about it after that.


Later that day
TEXT MESSAGE From Andrew to Seth [Wanna continue the movies. We didn’t finish them all yet…]
TEXT MESSAGE From Seth [I’ll do it after I fold my clothes.]

What Andy doesn’t know is that Seth’s torso warranted a size increase. He doesn’t really think of it as he is still shrugging it off as muscle growth.
As Seth is still going to the gym less but, has switched to a new routine.

Seth walks down to the lounge to see the same set-up and Andy stating “There’s still too much dude. We need to do this again.”
So, the two take off their shirts. Seth’s little paunch and Andy’s tummy are on full display but, the two just think that the other’s general size.
They don’t know that they’re going through the same experience.

The two men eat and drink an immense amount. More than the previous night. The foods weren’t frozen or cooled as they were eaten on the first night.
This consisted of lot of snacks and chilled beers (the men cleared it out but, still a beer is needed)
The two enter into a drunken and gluttonous slumber. Both with distended stomachs which even if not distended which appeared a bit after the two started living together.

Andrew having a buddy who he drinks and eat more with. Seth a buddy that he doesn’t need to go to the gym to see.
This was the obvious consequence of the two living together.
The two wakes up like last night, hungover more than last night. They are still a bit bloated and full of regret.

Seth looks at his stomach and then his uncle’s
He doesn’t say anything but, notices something different which he doesn’t know and blames on the prolonged drunkenness and fullness.
Andrew asks Seth “Dude, we have a few things for tonight. Then it would all fit.” He grabs the last few snacks and places it on the kitchen island.
A few types of chips, a few microwavable or toaster friendly snacks, a few soft drinks and, bread items.

Later that night
“Andy Movie Time!” Seth yells to Andrew who is in his room. He grabs a new pair of sweatpants and puts them on. Feeling a bit tighter than when he bought them, but he doesn’t care as he just regards it as it being washed. It didn’t matter as the finale of the movie series AND the gluttony are just downstairs.

The two finish the few bags of snacks with chilled beers and some soft warm drinks.
“BUUUUUUURRRRRPPP!” Andy burps then Seth burps “BUUUUUUUUUURRRRRPPP!!!”
The two pause the movie and exclaim “burping contest!” the two men chug large amounts of beer instantly which they have done since the first day together.
The two compete in their competition. Which Andy was claimed the winner?
But he realised something on Seth. He asks, “New sweats?” Seth replies “I got it 2 days ago. I saw it when I was getting new dress shirts after working out.” Which was a lie.
Seth got it the day prior because he saw how his dress shirts now fitted him. With the buttons peeking at his small belly. And his sweatpants were already tight before moving to NYC and after Tuesday night Seth didn’t fit in them as well.
Andy lets out one more burp “BUUUUUUURRRRRPPPPPPPPPPP”
He rubs his belly and tells Seth “I haven’t ever lived with everyone. I moved out at 18 and lived on my own. I missed this. Doing nothing and everything with someone. You are such an amazing roommate.”
Seth replies “Thanks, I know that you are my favourite uncle but, I thought that would disappear but, this is clearly not true, and you are now one of my best friends.”
The two too tired and lazy to get up give an air hug.
The two finish the movie, beers and snacks and then fall asleep on the couch like the last few nights.
 


















Part Three - Consequences

Seth wakes up to see the two’s gluttony and laziness on full display.
He doesn’t care due to the regularity of this. He makes his way to the shower in his en-suite upstairs. Putting on his suit he mutters “It is the rejection of work. Wow.” As the suit pants take some work to place on his frame. He puts on the dress shirt and suit jacket. Gets an iced coffee from his study’s mini fridge, his suitcase and paperwork and racing out the door to get to work.

As Seth leaves Andy’s making his way out of the bedroom. Cleaned in a new entire outfit going out the door a bit behind Seth.

The two-part ways and say “Bye!” and wave Andy getting in his car and Seth walking to the pretty long distanced train station.

4 days later
Thursday before a Public Holiday

TEXT MESSAGE from Andy to Seth [Hey, I have a car ready for you. It’s a new luxury car. I know you wanted to make your own way but, I am annoyed that you take longer to get home But, the real reason is that I want to test out stuff on my car as you know, and I don’t like borrowing my employees’ cars once every few clients or owning 2 cars for 1 man.]
TEXT MESSAGE to Andy [OMG, Thanks Andy! I will be thrilled to drive you when you need to mate! This is the kindest thing that anyone has EVER done for a long while!]

TEXT MESSAGE to Seth [I’ll pick you to take you later to the dealership.]
TEXT MESSAGE to Andy [I wanted to come home early as I have a day off tomorrow what is 2 more hours away.]

Andy makes his way to Seth’s work and Seth lets everyone go home early so he could as well. At the dealership the two pick up the car, the two men come in one car and leave with two.

The two get home and Seth ordered and paid for a large amount takeout to celebrate his new gift and gave Andy full control of the TV remote for the long weekend.

16 days later
Sunday Night

The two are shirtless and watching a sports game. With their regular bottles of chilled beers and empty bottles in the 4 cupholders and from their large refrigerators integrated and a large number of snacks on the coffee table, arm rests and side tables.

“Hey Andy?” Seth asks, “Yeah Seth.” Andy responds.
He responds, “did you get new sweats?” he adds “They look so comfortable” Andy replies “I got these a while ago and they were too big, so I didn’t use them. They still had the tag on them. Then a few days ago I must have accidently washed them, and they shrunk to be just right!”

Seth responds, “Do you still have the tag?” Andy pulls down the waist exposing a bit of his lightly hairy torso and pulling off a plastic tag. Taking a photo and texting it to Seth. “There!” Seth replies “Thanks.”

Seth imminently orders them but, in 2 sizes larger than his size when he came to New York.

4 days go by
Friday mid-day
TEXT MESSAGE from Andy from Seth [My client is throwing a celebration to the racing car and the team. I need the team to look ‘familyised’ whatever the hell means with that. It’s formal as f**k.]
