chapter 1 - magical beginnings

It was another bright and sunny day in south Florida. Mark was walking towards the campus recreation center for his usual Monday social hour with his longtime friend Tina. The 21-year-old college student was halfway through his senior year of college and despite sharing very few things in common with Tina, their bond had gone all the way back to their early days in middle school and the two had always been there for each other despite the very different paths they had walked since the formation of their friendship.

Mark was raised in a very traditional upbringing and had married his high school sweetheart Chelsea at the age of 19. Very much a “straight and narrow” couple, both Mark and Chelsea had lived relatively stable lives and decided to pursue degrees in accounting together. Always keeping things safe, Mark and Chelsea tried their best to stay fit and healthy. Tina on the other hand, was the exact opposite of Chelsea. While she was technically a visual arts major, one would assume she was pursuing a culinary degree based on her love for food, or at least her love for consuming it. At 307 pounds, Tina had struggled her way through college as her interests primarily involved partying, eating, and sleeping her days away. She hadn’t always been this way, but at some point in high school she decided to throw caution to the wind and pursued what she loved, leaving Mark to sometimes wonder why he had remained friends with her. Despite his doubt, he always found himself gravitating towards her in times of need, which was precisely why he was so eager to see his longtime friend.

Walking into the recreation center, Mark found Tina sipping on a large soda as she waited patiently for his arrival. “Hey Tina, glad you could make it today. I was worried you might not be able to show, I could really use your help.”

Sipping on her cherry coke, Tina pulled out her phone and placed the screen in front of Mark’s face. “Uhh yeah, you kind of begged me all Saturday evening to make sure I was here. What’s going on dude?” she said with a slightly annoyed look across her face.

Mark suddenly felt a tightness in his chest. He had never divulged this information with anyone, and now he felt surprisingly embarrassing and short of words. “So… you know how Chelsea and I have never had a great sex life? Well she’s been hinting that she wants to have our first child in the next year or so, and I’ve been having… issues getting ‘in the mood’ for her.”

Tina gave a slightly disgusted look before eloquently voicing her thoughts as she always did. “Umm bro, did you urge me to come so you could tell me you can’t get a boner with your wife? It happens to the best of us, I’m sure you can figure it out.” Yet as she watched Mark’s face redden, she could tell that something else was going on. “Unless… the problem is more than just a mental barrier?”

Mark fidgeted in his seat a little before he pulled out his phone. Tapping away, he pulled up a website before handing it over. “I think… I think I’m attracted to fat women. I mean… I’ve always known. I guess I just thought if I could keep my mind focused on skinny girls then I could ‘convert’ myself. But the older I get, the more I’ve realized that I’m destined to be with a fat woman...”

Scrolling through Mark’s phone, she found numerous pictures of large girls with thick legs, massive ass cheeks, and mountainous paunches. “Wow these girls all look like…”

Mark cut her off, finishing her sentence. “You. They look like you.”

The two sat in silence for a moment before Tina handed Mark his phone. “So… you’re saying that you can’t get it up because she’s not fat enough? Is that it? I’m not sure how I can help you out there. I’m not about to be a homewrecker either. I don’t need that drama in my life.”

Mark’s face turned a deeper red. Tina was the only fat girl he was close enough with to discuss his predicament, yet now that he said it aloud, he realized how silly it was to bring this to her. “I guess… I just don’t know what to do. I love Chelsea. She is absolutely perfect. I just don’t know if our marriage will last if I’m never truly attracted to her. I don’t know who else to turn to.”

Sensing the sadness in his voice, Tina felt a deep sympathy for her longtime friend. Perhaps there was something she could do for him. “If you could make her fat… would you really do it? I mean, do you truly believe you would be happy with a wife as fat as I am?”

Mark’s face lifted, his sadness dissipating. “Absolutely! But how?”

Tina chewed on her lip for a second before she looked around the room, her eyes searching for a place where they could be alone. “Follow me” she said as she grabbed his hand, pulling Mark along. Opening the door to a vacant meeting space, Tina kept the lights off as she locked the door, proceeding to close all the blinds.

“Umm Tina what exactly are we about to do? I’m not interested in cheating on my wife.”

Clearing a few contents off the conference table, Tina sat down and urged Mark to sit across from her. “There’s a spell I came across in my grandma’s diary back in high school. When I was 16, I was able to roughly translate the spell. It’s called the ‘Figure Exchange’ incantation and it allows two people to gradually transfer their body fat. I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve used it on a few girls that were bullying me, and it’s worked every time. If you truly want to fatten your wife, I can cast the spell to exchange my body for hers, but I must warn you that she will gain a lot of weight in only a few days. People will ask questions, and probably suspect that you are behind her weight gain. Just tell me that this is what you want, and I will do it.”

Mark sat in shock at what he had just heard. Of course it sounded ridiculous, but what did he really have to lose? In his mind, the worst-case scenario was already happening. He couldn’t allow his marriage to collapse. Looking over Tina’s voluptuous body, Mark could already feel himself becoming more aroused than Chelsea had ever made him feel. This could save his marriage. Looking into Tina’s eyes, Mark made his decision.

“Do it.”
