Chapter 1
Lockdown is boring. There is nothing to do. It’s been two months. At first it was fun. Partying, drinking, no work, no school, no gym, no responsibilities, video games, freedom.I finally decided to get up and get dressed. My jeans were a little snug. I brushed it off and went to eat breakfast. My roommate cooks a lot. As I ate I felt my belly push over my jeans.
“Wow someone is hungry.”
“Yeah.”
Manages to eat an entire large pizza alone. What would happen if I ate whatever I wanted as much as I wanted for a week with no physical activity. In the name of science I needed to know
my favorite sound in the world is someone groaning from having eaten too much
falling back in their chair, holding and gently rubbing their overstuffed tum, moaning about how full they are, how good it tasted, how they can’t believe they ate it all, how fat they’re gonna get, how they might have to unbutton and unzip their pants just to get up, how they can’t move
maybe even wordless moaning, stuffed into a stupor, shirt riding up and belly hanging out, oblivious to how much attention they’re drawing to themselves, messy and gluttonous, slowly shifting and squirming in their seat trying to soothe their aching gut
soft, low noises, pained and pleasured; whimpers; tummies and food and yummy murmurs
And this is what was happening to my roommate. Right before my very eyes he was starting to get soft. College was glorious for weight gain. His soft belly was bloated with pizza and beer.
“I can’t believe I fit that whole large pizza in here.”
I gave his belly a pat.
“A meat lovers stuffed crust deep dish with extra cheese whole large pizza.”
“Ugh oooof I feel so bloated.”
“Plus all that beer.”
“Don’t remind me.”
“Hey you were the one bragging about being able to eat it all.”
“I was and I did and it was so good. Plus it was free so fork it over.”
I smirked as I handed him the cash. Totally worth it. All it took was one comment to set off the competitive nature of his. An athlete was always an athlete, competitive, pushing themselves to the limit mentally and physically. The endorphin rush from new bests gives them a sense of accomplishment and purpose. The drive to be better than they were before. Now it seemed that he was striving to see how much food he could shovel into his face before passing into a food coma and how little he could move in a day.
